Well, everything I was going to say has already been said. Thanks for putting the party on and supplying the food Woolly, it was so worth coming to meet everyone, next time I'll make sure it doesn't clash with anything else, so hopefully I'll be able to stay longer.

I agree with there being no need for a name n shame / verification system due to the possible abuse.
There are a lot of timewasters everywhere, not just in this lifestyle.
We all leave ourselves open to them by the very nature of what we enjoy, photos on a profile don't help much due to peoples shyness or need for discretion - as far as showing their face is concerned. I have found that the best way to enjoy a successfull meeting is to be patient. As a single guy myself, when replying to ad's I always suggest a social meeting to begin with. It's better to at least meet and enjoy a chat / drink somewhere socially and find out that way whether you all get on with each other. Photos are just that, there's no way of knowing what anyone is like as a person from a photo. Who cares if you don't have any fun at the first meeting, surely it's better to just enjoy some time out together and see what happens.

Really sorry to read that you've all been let down. Theres nothing worse than the excitement of meeting someone new being spoilt by them not showing up.
Eastmids couple - even though you're so far away from me, it wouldn't prevent me from turning up. Personally, I don't have a problem with travelling any distance to meet someone. I enjoy the driving as much as the meeting. For me, it's a chance to get away from my usual routine and visit somewhere new, hopefully to meet some great people when I get there. I often drive from Newcastle to Plymouth and always return home refreshed and ready to take on the daily grind again, lol. I realise there are a great many timewasters out there (both single males / females and couples), don't give up though. There are one or two couples and singles that make it all worthwhile
