Sorry, but how would it stop them sending anyone a PM? If they pay for premium services, won't they be able to PM anyone?
it would cut down on the number of Pm's because it would cut down on the number of new members if they had to pay. if its free everyone will try in and they appear to be just doing that

I don't think you'd seem like a time waster just by messaging someone to clarify their location. You could make a point of saying that when you ask.
I take you point, I just look for people close and being able to see that first off is my preference

I would suspect and I have some knowledge on this . the software they have installed is like most dating sites and runs on milleage from your location this an only be done if the postcode system is in place as thats how the software calculates the distance

The prob is when search through Photo Ads and as a non driver i like to know people are close to me as thats one of my main conditions in meeting. I dont want to travel half way up the country to meet someone.
I could look at a location and say yes or know before looking at anything else, and i would think other did that as well.
Why i should not have to bother someone asking there location before going further is beyond me. and if i message them and them find after they live miles away i am wasting there time.
I want to know who lives withing 10-20 miles of me , which is my travelling distance at present i cannot do that.
The only thing I have noticed in the photo Ads section is peole changing the postcode to a named location so i hope this carries on and the prob will be solved
