I know Elliot is tinkering with the ads today so I'll get him to take a look
I've just replied back to your Support Ticket.

This URL was sent round our office today which may be useful to this thread:
Wow that site is incredibly handy
You can contact Admin regarding any problem that you may experiencing on the site. Just remember to provide as much information as possible, including the area where the incident happened.
Operators (chat room) and Moderators (site/forum) are also happy to help.
If it was in the chat room, the name of the room and the date/time is essential.

I get the gist of the advert but I think it's a bit harsh if your name is Nigel. Just imagine the endless singing after every gets a bit rowdy down your local pub.
Also, I don't know where 'Nigel' is based, but I've never seen any watches lying around the streets.
It sounds like the graphics card might be on its way out. What make/model is it? It might be worth noting down how many times it beeps.
Heard this on the news earlier:
Make sure that you are clicking onto the picture once it is shown. This will insert img tags into the message which is where the photo will be shown to the recipient
The room limit is 70 members. However, we found a problem when an operator needed to enter the room to deal with an incident, but they couldn't because there was no room. We then put 10 reserve slots on the rooms so an operator or administrator could get in in an emergency.
It does turn out though, if a room has 69 members and another 2 members try to enter at the exact same time, the room limit will hit 71, taking one of the reserve slots. If more enter at the same time, obviously the count will go up a little higher, but it does not often happen.
A user that I spoke to last week simply removed the Real Player software and managed to resume his access immediately. Definitely worth a try.
Edit: If you are unsure how to go about doing this, you can remove programs via the Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.
I've just put up a help article which covers what the chat room symbols stand for, to help those new or old members who are unsure.
The 'grey screen' basically means that you are having problems connecting to the chat room servers.
You need to consider running the communication test to see whether any failed or timed out results are shown:
The most common cause of this grey screen problem is a firewall. This can range from the Windows XP firewall to a firewall set up in a router or wireless router.
A few new cases that have cropped up recently have coincided with installing the latest Real Player software. We're not sure why but we are taking a look into this so it is something to bare in mind.
Your browser may have cached a blank white page - try pressing 'Ctrl and F5' both together whilst viewing the white page.
I think this thread makes good point, not because I want to see anyone named and shamed or encourage others to name and shame, but to take a step back and actually admire the way that you responded to the message. You could have sent a similar message back, but to diffuse it straight away, I must respect the approach.
I have found one bug in the mailbox that causes this, whether or not there is another way, I'm not sure. I'll explain.
Once you have sent a message to another user, if you view your Sent folder obviously that message is shown as Unread. If you tick or highlight that message and use the button titled Save Selected you will notice that the Sent message is then immediately marked as Read. This also marks the sent message in the recipient's inbox as Read instead of the usual Unread.
I believe that members saving their Sent messages is causing this to happen. I suspect that Sent messages are saved so they can be used to send to another member and so on.
We had a look at the mailbox code and there is nothing that could be found which would cause this to happen and there has been no recent changes which is even stranger. The goods news as I think someone else mentioned that we have a new mailbox in the pipeline which will get rid of this bug.
A quick google tells me that digital camcorders are connected by a firewire cable which is the one that you have brought - great if you have a firewire connection on your PC, bad if you don't. You might have to go down the line of buying a PCI firewire card but this is going to be more money.
From reading a few forums, it seems that people with JVC cameras have had a nightmare trying to connect them to their PCs via USB, most have failed.
Having said that, I've never tried personally and hope that someone else has and can be of more use.
