Appreciate all the points raised, and have a few ideas on them, but just wanted to say a system of whatever make up, used by the vast majority of us honestly and truthfully has to be better than no system at all. Have seen it work on other sites, useful cross referencing in chat room etc, so maybe it is a debate worth persuing.

Is there any way that we could verify each other as genuine couples? I think Steveg was saying something in the chatroom yesterday about verifying single males, but I think it would be good for couples too.
It could limit the timewasters and make the most for us genuine lot!

Right this music thing needs settling.... if someone takes another artist's original song and uses it for themselves, it is called a cover version, thus the music that the jerry show uses is a cover of a Bare Naked Ladies song. The original artist has the ownership..the intellectual rights if you please, so on a technical note Fran was actually 100% correct.
Just cos the LSO records Mozart's Requiem and then the beeb decide to use that for Kilroy (as a random example) would that mean that it wasn't Mozart's work anymore? Even if they jazzed it up or played it via the power of the "raspberry", it would remain Mozart's work.

hi there, welcome to the fold..(or is that folds..mmmm). Don't know about upgrades but if your pc has a cd rom then you could take your old negatives to boots and they will transfer them to cd for a small charge, or if you want ruder ones then there are a few confidential film processing companies who will print your naughty pics (very naughty ones as i recall the film we once sent, but thats another story) and put them on to cd for you.
One such firm is trust colourlabs. Room 14, Freepost NE9890 Doncaster DN11 8BR. 24 exposure for 35mm is plus for a CD Rom. I name them not cos I have any commercial reason, but through using their service, which was great.

Midxcouple, agree you can establish whether ppl are genuine or not with a webcam, but we think that it intrudes on privacy a little early, particularly on a first contact. Much prefer to be able to see pics, peruse at leisure and then make a decision whether or not they are ppl we would want to develop things with.
We have found the webcam thing can be a bit pressured, being forced for a decision immediately, no time to think about things fully and thus making decisions on the hop. Whereas we have come back to peoples e mail and pics a few times before we have made decisions, maybe some would have been rejected immediately/others not if it had been a quick decision on webcam.

Can't you take pics with your web cam scots cpl :idea: Im the least technical person in the world but thats how we did our first pics when we started swinging in the lean years when digicams were out of our budget. I couldn't tell you how its done though thats Stu's job !! Just a thought.

I do totally understand your point, all joking aside. I never ask for rude pictures I am not that interested in them to be honest, I like that side of things to be a surprise!! There are so many ways to get "normal" pics onto your computer these days, you can even walk into Boots put your negatives into a machine and it will transfer them to CD Rom for you. However I also understand the privacy problem, but in swinging surely if you are serious you have to set aside a certain amount of privacy?
Im not trying to upset anyone with this thread, I am genuinely interested in all points of view!

We have recently had an influx of couples writing to us (which is great he he he) However when we write back one of two things happens, they disappear (we are used to that one lol) or they write back saying they have no pictures. This I struggle with, how can swingers have no pics and how do they expect to meet people?

We cant believe that some people are so crass, however no matter what your ethnic background there appears to be a minority of people within the swinging community who consider any swinger as an easy lay and that they can say what they wish to you. Apparently us swingers have no feelings and this minority can treat us as they wish.

have to agree with blue, we always try to repond with the "thanks but no thanks" if we are not interested, but sometimes there isn't time, it gets left and then forgotten, deleted to free up mail space etc.
It's just that single women and cpls get loads of responses from single guys, you have to stand out immediately. As was said before, cock shots don't exactly excite, a well composed, clear facial pic attached to mail always generates more interest for us. Don't be afraid of posting such pics, the vast majority of people on here will delete them promptly, your privacy intact..lol.
The ones we deliberately don't reply to are those who haven't read our ad properly, are crass or bulk mailings that aren't personal to us, you know the type that some guys send to everyone almost like a spam!
Be patient, be honest, be you and enjoy this site and you will get lucky!
