There does seem to be a disconnect between the dates/times shown on the friends/favourites icons and those shown on the profile. Perhaps the data comes from different databases which are not always in step. One for admin I think -- I'll consider raising a ticket if admin doesn't spot this and explain.
Yes of course age is a factor, both at your end of the scale and at mine. Being “Over 50†seems to be just as much a barrier as being under 30, however much you look and act older and I look and act younger. You of course have the advantage that you will grow out of it!
Do not despair – there are lovely ladies here who will be attracted to you just as there are a few who are attracted to older men, and lets face it if the chemistry isn’t there its not really going to work.
So I wish you lots of luck in your search and I’m sure someone nice will come your way. And in the meantime remember that there are an awful lot of us single guys and only a limited number of lovely ladies -- make yourself stand out from the rest by forum posts, chatroom (with camera if possible) and by visiting socials.
Yes its very good and it sounds as if it will get better as its developed. however we do seem to have lost the ability to distinguish premium members from "free" ones, which means that 80-90% of the people it finds won't be able to message back.

If you are REALLY interested in someone, the search facility is the ONLY part of the site which can distinguish between "Standard" and "Premium" members. But you have to enter everything you know about that person to limit the number of "hits" you get, enter "premium" as one of the parameters, hit "search" and then troll through the list of people who fit your description to see if the person you want is there. Its very time consuming and probably only worthwhile for someone who's profile you really fancy.

Is anyone else having problems with sound in the chatroom. By that, I'm referring to the "click" when someone sends a new message. I always have mine turned on so that I can tell if there is any activity even when I'm doing something else such as browsing ads or the forum. Mine seems to have disappeared however many times I hit the "enable sound" button. has anyone else got the same problem or is it just me ??

Yes !! Two moves
I'd moved into parents house when I separated, and had to sell it after they died and split the proceeds with my brother. It had been on the market for over a year, but we sold it earlier this month, and my stuff is in storage and I'm in a bedsit with limited internet access. But I've just made an offer on a house which I'm hoping to move into within the next month, so I hope I can arrange a swinging housewarming soon lol
