Nah i don't believe that. If you don't want this to happen and are that tired of the site then just take a break without posting to see if anybody is bothered. We all get fed up of certain matters on here so could you imagine if there was a 'Cafe' full of this kinda post. Genuin people wanting to have a break isn't a problem but don't post for attention. Plus you can still read this forum without signing in 12 hours after opening a 'Taking a break' thread.

Update.... Been trying to get in for over 10 mins now but all im getting is it saying its connecting me?? Can get in old chat no problem. This is all becoming a bit of a joke now... After being a member for 6 yrs without problems to not being able to chat at all!!!

I'm getting really p'd off now with getting kicked out of chat!!!! Been having problems for the last few weeks now and come to think of it... its only been since i volunteered to try out the new chat?? Never had any of this before hand.
It started off with when i typed it not appearing in chat then getting kicked. Now im getting kicked within approx 5 mins of being in there. Sorry.. but its a joke!!

You say you get booted...? Before hand, did you type at all but it not appear in the room? The reason I ask is because ive been having that issue for weeks now. My ISP say its nothing to do with them
That happened a few times. On one occasion, I eventually saw my text (well some of it) but then it the text screen froze again but the people on cam were still moving!
On other occasions I got the message that I'd been disconnected or something along those lines).
Since the last time, I've been unable to get back into the chat at all. It just gtells me to wait while I connect to the service but it never happens. When I cancel that box, it says I've timed out anyway!
I've just logged out, cleared cookies etc and still no joy.
I thought the point of this new chat was that it was better than the old one and we wouldn't be experiencing these problems? Methinks it should still be in Beta!
I got the cam still moving but what i typed didn't appear too

So.. everything was going fine till last night... All my pages went slow to load again... the spinny thing in the top left corner was going anti-clockwise instead of clock-wise and I kept getting kicked from chat AGAIN :sad: Not sure how it lies today yet as i've not been in from work long.

Seemingly Sky couldn't find any problems. That was at 8am this morning. I've been out at work all day.. Logged into the site and chat at approx . AND i'm still in there:
They probably sent your router/modem a sort of reboot message if they are anything like Virgin media. Often sorts out the problem.

Yes. I've tried everything. System scans and Java updates. Flash is auto updated because I use Google Chrome and to do the Cache Test it has to clear all your browsing and stuff. I've done nothing but think about it today.
I think it's my Router. Its funny how from a pc and laptop i'm getting the same probs. If there was a pc problem it wouldn't effect the performance of the laptop, would it? I'm gonna ring and ask for a new one to be sent out to me.

I've rung Sky and spent 30 mins going through this n that.. rebooting.. blah blah for them to say its not them? They say there is no proxy. They are passing it onto a higher team to check again. While doing all the checks they had me signing into chat to see what happened but it was still the same. I can type once then im a gonner!!
Kenty... I tried chat on another site last night but it did the same. I don't use IE and Firefox just crashes everytime. My question is.. Why can i get in chat and it only happen once i've typed? :sad:

Ok... for about the last 5 days or so I have been experiencing problems in chat. I can log in, move from the server it throws me into to the room I want, say 'Hello' then..... Nothing. :sad: The room stops rolling and anything that I type in the panel at the bottom of the box sends, but doesn't show in the room.. then about 10 seconds later I crash and the room grey's out. :sad: Now last night I managed to stay in chat about 90 mins before it happened.
I have put in support tickets and spoken to Meeko about the problems and they have/are doing there best to help which I really appreciate.
I have a PC which is running XP that I use 95% of the time. I have tried updating everything which I'm told its all up to date. I'm also wireless. I've even done a system restore.
I also sometimes use a laptop which is Windows 7 and getting the exact same problems on that which tells me its something to do with chat rather than the systems. I have also tried the chatroom on a different site (10 mins ago) and the chat is exactly the same there.
MSN is working and the IM chat thing in the right hand corner at the bottom. Also the games on FB so if it was a flash problem surely they wouldn't work?
There must be a Computer Whizz Kid about somewhere that can help?? Please?

It's annoying isn't it. I've never known the problems to run this long before. Everytime I go in chat, within a few mins the room stops rolling and what I type doesn't appear in there. I have to log out and reload it but then when I try and go back in, i'm locked in the room and have to wait till it eventually throws me out. It's not my pc freezing either as every other page I am using including the sites home page works fine. I have raised a support ticket too.
