I have a scar over a foot long on my right ankle that goes up my leg, It looked really bad for about 18 months but now it is starting to fade a little.
I hurt it playing golf (its a long story) and had a ligament reconstruction and was in plaster for frickin ages.
I really hated the scar but dont feel so bad about it now

We have a cluster of 3 database servers and one of them broke a few days ago. While we are waiting for the replacement hardware our database is running on two servers so it is a bit slow. We tried to get the third server back online a few days ago and that was the last lot of downtime and it crashed again. We are planning new solutions at the moment so we will keep you posted.

Thanks, please PM them to me so we can then have a look over them here. The problems are thinking about this sensibly you cant have."You are not what I am looking for " as how do you know without getting a personal PM?
We cant have "I" either as they might be used on couples accounts

We said before, the auto responders were to stop you actually recieving winks in favour of messages that were more in tuned with what you wanted. The intention of this thread was to get some members to write some more standard oness that we could include for everyone to use.
They do need to be agreed in advance because imagine if we had a spammer or something who put up a great "single young lady" ad that everytime they got a wink sent back that said "please call me on 0906 etc etc".
So providing the resonses are not nasty and are sensible we will consider them for inclusion. If anyone wants no contacts at all then you need to have the blockers on rather than the auto responders.

Despite what you think we do listen, in the next few days you will be able to opt out of recieving them. It sends a polite message back that says thanks but please take the time to send me a personal message etc :D So in short if popularity is your problem you will get the choice of how to deal with them!

I think you might have got the wrong end of the stick, we might have got the words wrong with Stealth so we are changing the wording but this is what the cam package actually does.
1. If you are an extras member the normal icon that you see will appear as the following
Blue x as a male
Pink x as a female
Half blue and half pink X as a couple
You are always visible and identified by your sex etc by the x the only change here is that rather than have the symbol for ,or couple, you get the coloured x.
2. The extras only lounge is a chat room on server 2 that only extras members and Ops can get it. The same principal as a private room with invites open to extras members.
3. Some of you might realise that when you are on Cam you can see who is watching your cam feed as the male/female icon turns into an eye. The only difference here is that as an extras member you just see the X still.
Extras members cant disappear, they cant get into locked rooms, they cant do anything at all that a normal member cant do. The only differences are what you can see above.
We are changing the description and wording to clarify so this should help, in regard to people viewing you on cam in a public chat room it is not like at the moment people object as they would not do it. Secondly if you did object to people viewing your cam then perhaps it would be time to go into a private room?.

Some really good stuff here!! 
We are not charging clubs to have reviews and details on here, we see it as a valuable tool for the members to use.
We do have final say what clubs manage to get listed on the site, we have removed at least one because they called the office and were trying to force us to take out all the negative reviews from the SH members. Refrences were made to the negative members of this community as being "lying scum" etc. This did not sit well with Admin and now we refuse to list the club at all on this site.
All the rest of the comments will be noted and we will sort something out, it would be good to have just a few people doing the official reviews but there are over 50 clubs so I am not sure if it would be possible.

What we are looking to do is this
1. Members can vote on each club once to give it a star rating between 1-5 on a few areas like price, venue,etc, an average rating will then be established (like trip advisor).
2. Clubs will then be listed by rating so the best first and so on
3. SH will conduct an official review on each club with a number of points covered (I am putting something together for this).
4. All clubs will need to modify their descriptions to include opening hours, pricing, (and maybe discounts for SH members?)
5. After this has been done perhaps we give an award at the end of the year for the "UKs best swinging club" as voted by SH members
Any other suggestions?

Well that was quite a read, three times in three days one of the TV companies rang us to put people forward for them to interview to cover the wank club topic.
By the third day they were trying to offer us money and the answer was still "NO" . So to my surprise when i see the thread a few days later I think that it has either been started by the press or that the press could be behind it or involved with it in one way or other as they could not get any help from us.
With regard to my piece on the radio that keeps getting thrown in my face, despite it being possitive for swinging and this site and its members I would like to add this.
I had the balls to go on BBC radio for over 10 minutes using my real name to fight for this site and what we believe in. It was a good possitive piece there was absolutely nothing in the content that was negative or inappropriate. We would rather deal with the press officially rather than keep getting "an official source at swinging heaven said".
With regards to forum avatars, these are rules that have been here a lot longer than us......

I have had to close this topic for the following reasons1. We had one of the TV channels asking us for interviews from people recently on this subject.
2. In view of recent press saying "from an official source at swinging heaven" you could find that your opinions on this subject end up in one of the main rags or on TV.
3. If anyone PMs you on this subject they could be press so be very careful!!!

You can do this and let me tell you something, After the first three days it gets easier and easier after 72 hrs the nicotine is out of your system and you will start to crave orange juice.
In a week or two you will get a cold as you cough it all out, and after that you are free!!!.
I quit 15 Months ago after smoking 15 years, I found that I always had a sore throat and felt like shit when I smoked.
My Father in Law died last Saturday at a little over 50 with throat cancer, he was told it was smoking that caused it. After seeing the state he was in I could never put another one in my mouth ....Never ever again.
