All apllaud the technoligal enhancements. But they are sheep.
Where is the technological enhancements for mobile users then? The Moderators on here just spout that they are not in control and that someone will get to it, sometime; and that is the standard answer to pc users let alone anyone wishing to access anything from a mobile.
It has been several weeks now, the site is predictably as slow as a snail using microsoft IE. Using another browser (safari for instance) it is often quicker, but blurred and I didn't sign up for an apple site in the first place.
The functions and abilities do not work at all using Windows mobile 5. No plug ins available to use flash pop up's. Cannot view profiles, etc.
When is anyone who is in control from this site going to address these issues. Did anyone look into user testing on anything other than an apple or linux system.
Why have you ostrasised mobile users?
Still no support for mobile users.
Are any of your techno freaks looking into this?
So it is their (i.e Doctors) a total lack of prefessionalism and understanding of the wider picture that irks you then?
I find they know what's wrong, but don't want to admit it for fear of repercussions or the bill!
I read this thread with great interest, not because I have diabetes (at least not that I know of) but because I know someone who had it for many years from an early age (8) but eventually died of it. It was the most serious kind of diabetes, but he did live a good life.
I had tried to post a ful reply just now but I guess it was to long a response and I was logged out when I went to post it. So when I sent it, it went into the ether.
So to cut a long story short, my recommendation to anyone is let your close friends know. Might sound drastic, but they might one day be able to save your life if they know what to do if you go hypo.
As Jaq-kryps suggests, find your own way of dealing with it, no one case is the same. And GP's who generalise on conditions and cannot write a prescription that is in code that only bletchly park can decipher, are not to be taken seriously. Believe me, every time I go to a GP they say it's in the mind, son, it's all in the mind.
Something to do with money I say!!

My profile text has disappeared from the profile that members see although its in the Profile edit. Also who I'm looking for has disappeared from the Profile. Has that happened to anyone else? In the Profile edit, I can't see a list, eg Couple, Single Female, Gay male etc that we used to use to indicate what we were looking for.
When I try to access my Photos they don't appear although 2 are listed.
I've also got these funny twirling circle things spinning 'round like little radar screens on some pages. Anyone know what they are?

I can see your profile text and activities ok. My looking for was always blank so I cant help you on that one sorry.
Cant help you with the twirly things either
The little twirly things are the servers having an epileptic fit and not knowing what to do. Be warned, if you stare at them long enough you will have an epileptic fit also.
The health and safety executive have been investigating this so i guess nothing will change then, cos they are all on the floor frothing at the mouth!
Video problems
1. In Internet Explorer the video player window opens towards top of screen, so if you had clicked on the last video on the page or botton row of vid's, you can't see it playing without having to scroll back up.
2. No time bar, pause etc buttons on the video player screen.
3. No "next" or "page number" buttons at the bottom of the page - you have to scroll up to the top to navigate.
4. Videos won't play at all in Safari. No plug in available.
To mods,
when you get round to sorting out all the above problems, please spare some time to sort out why its all gone pear shape for pda/pocket pc users. Its all over the place and the gallery just doesn't work properly. clicking on a pic gets nothing!
Thanks Geordiecpl2001,
I think I have worked out why most us Brits go in June, cos the sand dunes are policed from July to August sad but outside that period anything is possible lol
Did anyone go over the Millau Bridge on the way there? What did you think of it?
Thanks for that Fun2, glad you enjoyed it. Hope you didn't get too sun-burned lol
I would love to go back myself because of the relaxed atmosphere, and that beach is lovely.
Did anyone here stay on the campsite?
Just wondered how all those who went got on at the Cap, would be interest to hear.
Am thinking of going back next year sometime so would welcome an up-date.
Cheers.
Hi sunseekercouple,
Thought I would post details for booking the campsite as requested (see the link below). You might need load up "Adobe Flash player 9" to view the site if you have not got it already but this can easily be downloaded from " ".
There may be other campsites around the area, but clearly the best is to be in the nudist site itself. The campsite there is run by a company called "Rene Oltra", and the site takes tents, campers (I saw some really big ones there - campers that is lol), and has chalets too. Fascilities are good - plenty of showers, washrooms etc, the showers are unisex!. And there is a cafe/bar on the campsite itself etc. where most go for a french loaf in the morning - an ok place to sit and chill out too.
I have been twice in July (06 & 07) for a few nights each time, I didn't book in advance just turned up. Although they were busy I have always got a pitch for a small tent and my motorbike. But obviously if your planning for a week or so with another couple and with a Camper you had better book in advance.
Reason I did not book was because I was touring france on a bike and didn't know when I would be that far south! lol.
Anyhow the English section of the Rene Oltra site is here:-

On the way have fun crossing the Millau Bridge outside Montpellier, it is a marvel of engineering and well worth stopping for a look.
By all means pm me if you want any more info, etc, Sat Nav details for the entrance etc.
Have fun next year.

What i mean is that only someone who has access to a user name on a pc can see the screen - others see a blue screen or nice country picture). This would solve many a domestic problem i'm sure (lol).
But is it possible, like sunglasses are polarised and only let light in a certain way, can someone come up wit a monitor that recognises the users and limits their field of view to what's on screen.
Devious i know but with family and children aout wouldn't that be utopia?
Hi,
Nice signpost lost ( at a guess that was in france)?
I have a picture of a french signpost headed "misery", was quite apt at the time but that's another story.
I always try to say hello or hi in a chatroom, but appreciate that others may have been there for some time and may be chatting via whispers etc. But I do flit from one to another myself also as is the want, without a bye or leave.
I hope that is not taken as rudeness, just if no one is active (they may have fallen asleep over the last beer) then I move on.
Hi fun2share2, i wish i was there too. Have fun.
I only rode there and camped, are you flying,, staying in an apartment? Love to hear how you get on.
Entrance to the campsite is strictly policed, by guards at each entrance, you have to wear a special armband. But I must admit i stayed so late in the village one night, and walked the wrong way along the beach road back to the campsite and the gates were locked, so just climbed over to get to my tent! No problems, but it was late and everyone was asleep lol.
If i remember correctly, on the campsite nudism was obligatory, well it is a nudist place after all. But variations on a theme were ok.
Take a towel wherever you go, to sit on!.
The fascilities were great, communal showers all naked, hot water etc.
Mmmm, must go back.
Let us all know how you get on.

Hi Fun2, and anyone who is interested,
I have been there twice, 2006 + 2007 for a couple of days in July both times, camping whilst touring france on the motorbike. Are you renting a place or just driving down?
Was great fun, especially as I was camping so had access to the bar on the campsite where you can chill out having a coffee or beer and food and watch the world go by. It closes at around 9pm though. There is a bar further up the beach too (to the left as you enter beach) which was also quite good. I think they have refurbished it since I was there. But the bars in the village stay open real late - until the last one leaves almost.
Evening is very quiet on the campsite (very family oriented), and everyone seemed to go into the village, where the dress code seemed to be anything goes! Although most people were naked in the day, in the village in the evenings you would find more comfortable wearing something as most people seemed to. But it was easy going and whatever takes your fancy. Some very provocative outfits lol.
The best sight has to be the lady wearing nothing but high heels, and earings, very sexy.
Would love to go back, maybe next year. Took me four days to get there from Dunquerque (it rained non stop in northern france hence delays) but if you motored along the toll roads you could be there next day i guess.

hi,
That sounds interesting, what did you have in mind? I can travel, so a club or other would be ok.

Im just practicing my quoting technique lol

I guess i will just have to get used to it then.
Ouch my scrolling wheel has just bitten the dust, it popped out, on fire, rolled across the carpet and hit the cat! The cat has run away upstairs, the aardvark came down to see what was happening, the dog bit it, and all hell broke loose.
What ever happened to a quiet sunday?
Cherrytree - agreed.
Freckledbird - I wasn't talking about repeat programmes, but new programmes that in themselves repeat what they have show a few moments before, as if you had forgotten during the ad break!
Ho hum, such is life i guess.
Nope, because I don't have to watch the repeats or look at the forum if it's that much of a problem.
To clarify.
I went to an ops room with one op in it (no one else) to report something - they were marked as busy (no entry sign on their thingy). I waited - they eventually asked me if i needed help, /i started to reply but hadn't sent it then - wham greyed out.
Connection did onot go down - methinks he op was to impatient and went elsewhere within 15 seconds of asking!

Tonight, i was greyed out of an ops room before I even got to say anything. Why?

MOD EDIT: Don't blame the Ops when you have no idea what happened. Ops don't boot people for no reason and if you didn't say anything then you weren't booted!

Thanks for the reply, what stand are you going to be on? might buy some mitts or thermals, April could be cold.
Seems that no one else is owning up to looking forward to having a good time in skeggy. Where are all the bikers/swingers at the mo! Still in hibernation i guess. lol
This is a rant, so apologies in advance.
why do some "forumites" (a new word for the oxford then) copy all of the previous postings when giving their reply? it's not as if any reader would have lost the thread. But it makes my scrolling down finger ache cos you have to scroll though all what you have read before to reach the answer. Then you find the answer is a two word (such as "i agree")! Doh!
It is a bit like most tv prgrammes lately, they introduce the highlights, repeat the highlights, then after the adverts, reapeat again what they have shown before and then repeat what are going to show next! A half hour programme is really only 5 minutes of substance and 20 of re-iteration.
Any one else got fed up with tv doing this (and forum repeats too)?
Hi,
Anyone going to the Motorcycle News live event in Skegness in April (18-21) at butlins?
I went last October and had a great time.
I just wondered if any swingers were going this April and could make it even better?

I have found that a number of gay people who are couples are being described on this site as M/F couples. (Male symbol and Female symbol). Is it not time that this site recognised that couples are not M/F only so as not to confuse the rest of us! Why not allow M/M or F/F symbols? Discuss.
why advertise that all chatrooms servers are now merged into one as of 8 feb, when it only happened for a brief moment and now is back to 4 servers. Also the front page still says it only has 3 servers.
What is going on?
when can we expect up to date news?
Hi,
I usually access this wonderful site on my main pc. but sometimes have to use a pda using windows mobile 5 and wifi. does anyone else here do that, have you found a problem viewing photos in profiles etc.?
I can view (perve) photo's in the gallery, but as soon as i go to a profile they dissappear. I have enabled show pics etc and tried all sorts of other settings but to no avail.
Chat room is a definate no go, no doubt due to limited bandwidth or whatever, but is SH fully pocket pc compatible?
just wondered if any else did?
Thanks for any advice in advance.

Mobile, what's a mobile? Come to think of it what's a woman (anyone want to give me a practical demonstration?).
Quote by AtomCom2001
I had met this amazing woman (from this site i have to say) and was just getting down to a good oral session when my mobile rang. We just laughed and left it.
confused: What would you have done? :?:
I guess the only difference is whether you ever get to meet anyone to have fun or not. Otherwise you would just be a hopeful.
