one of the games, i would suggest if youve got it, is th Just Dance range.. always a giggle when we have it on in our house.
if you have another on sometime after xmas.. keep my name in mind.
I never remember meeting you Cocoa, but Marms was one of the firt few people i met from the site. its always great hearing about people who have found love from the site.
hope you both have a very long and happy life together... and if your both ever passing this way, you'll have to pop by for a drink and catch up.

Hi HnS,
Any chance you could reserve the quiet and shy corner for me please?
thanks
Well what can i say... friday night was Superb... wsa great meeting everyone and having a drink and waking up a small pub probably not use to us lot decending on them.
i have had a great weekend.. and really enjoyed getting to know a lot of new people, and chatting to people ive known for years, but not had chance to sit and get to know properly. it was brill
Jen & Mand.. you both did great... and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not take the blame for the events of the Hotel.. .end of the day the loss of hot water was something that no Organiser could fore see, so do not feel bad for it... everyone suvived and got on with having a great time.
look forward to the next one
oh and while we are on the note of Photos on Facebook.. i have been told i in the background of one of them.... i would please request that the person that posted them, please either crop the photo so i am not in view, or remove the photo.
even though its not a breach of site rules to take photos. but it is good etiquette to ask people before you post photos on either the public forum here or a external site
Started..... i'm still in the locker room getting ready! :-)
joking aside.. i kinda jumped in the deep end.. not really knowing a lot about swinigng at the time, and very young and niave (sp). i was invited to a partt with in about a couple of months of joining and went along, and it all kinda went from there..
with regards 1-2-1 meets i'm never that great with, tend to do a lot of chatting and getting to know people, but never really get past that stage, but then for me. i enjoy the freindship side, and widening my circle of freinds, so its not all a hardship..
for me personally.. main bit of advice i could give anyone who is new to the scene, is to get a long to socail of some kind, be that one from this site or another, as its such a great way of getting a feel for the people who are around, and its in a totally neutral enviroment, so if you think "nope this is not me.." then you can just walk away. but if you do, hopefully you'll enjoy the evneing, put names to faces, and maybe if your lucky have more to of a night to remember.
I fully agree with Gurl, everything has to be in a specific box, i suppose to me, i'm hardened to living the life of a swinger (severing emotions etc) but wouldnt class myself as one.
then i tend to say i'm the worlds worst swinger. as i chat to everyone, and enjoy making new freinds but very rarely do the swinging part.
well i have known to be a "little Accident prone in the past. but the worse item to try and kill me was a 3 1/2 tonne Cardboard Compactor. ( before you read the below, i should meantion that i am was In charge of Health and saftey at the time)
about 18 months ago, we wanted to move out Cardboard compacter from inside the Warehouse to outside, to create more room for Racking, we got some quotes in to get it moved professionally, but this would involve in getting a crane, and was rather costly, (about £1k if i recall) so i thouth surely we could do it a lot cheaper, as it needed to be moved about 30 meters.
so i looked on the Tool Hire webside, and found some things called Heavy duty stakes, which would site under the compactor and allow us to just push the thing out of the building... £60 for 24 hours, i thought perfect.. the Skates arrived, and then suddenly dawned, how would we get them under the unit it self. which i where the fork lift come in handy. so got the first Fork lift under, and the compactor was just to heavy to pick it up. lifting it about 2cms, then screming out, again ntoher bright idea of mine was to aline the second Fork lift so that both would beble to pick it up.. this worked, and under the skates went. all we now had to do was tow the thing out side nd jobs a good un.
we tied one of the skates to the back of the forklift and got one of the lads to drive it out. now.. this is were i forgot one of the most important things.. as you come out the back of the wearhouse, there is a slight slope going down.. now picture in your head 3 1/2 tonne Shopping trolly being pulled along from in front.
the first set of wheels of the skate touched the slope the desicde to pick up speed and then lost it balance and began to topple... my good self was stadning right in its line of drop when it decided to. first reaction (not sure why) was to try and stop it from falling. then thought feck that and i jumped rather quickly out of the way. the thing came down with a huge crash,.. if i had not of moved i would of been flatter than the cardboard that is put into those machines..
now we had a 3 1/2 tonne Compacter lying flat on the ground.. and the only way to get it back up was to ring up the company we origianlly got the qoute for moving it, so they could lift it on their Crane... costing us the £1k i tried to save.
looking back on it, it was a VERY stupid thing to do.. but in my head thought it would be easy.... and kind glad the thing fell my way, as if it had fallen forward, it would of landed on the fork lift. and the guy driving it would probably not of been able to move as quick as me....

For sitting on a bike? dunno

thank you for that foxylady, it sounds plausible. Guess I just need to go by a bike to get some use outa my lower zip.
I'd also add to my list anything designed and made for usw by right handed people when making it nuetral handed wouldn't alter it's performance or cost. I know the world is predominantly right handed and thats what needs to be catered for if an item is better for being 'handed', but bashing a pouring lip into a milk saucepan on both sides at the time of manufacture can't add cost to the product.... the list could go on
i have always thought the same... most items designed for a left handed persom, must of been designed by a Righty.
Takes Left handeds sissors.. i can not use them to save my life.. most arkward things ever,
My Pet Hates are.
>> A speed Camera that is about 30 Feet after the previous Speed Camera
>> The Traffic Police at the NEC
>> Google Latitude.... i Turned it on by mistake.. and cant figure out how to swtich it off.. ive not got the last months movements recorded on google.
>> The Skywalk thinky in the local asda, because the UP ramp is on the right and not the left.
>> people who always have to be that one bit better. no matter what you have done, they always have to go one better.
I'm not big lover of Telly anyway, but i do watch occasionally but 9/10 it tends to be DAVE or Gold, which are all the repeats of old stuff. i have to have my fix of the Likes of Top Gear, Father Ted, Black books and mock the week.
i thinks a lot of these quiz shows are now running out of NEW ideas, and they have attempted to bring back olds shows but not worked, they tried it with Bullseye and Kryton Factor, two great shows when they were on years ago, but i couldnt watch them because they wasnt the same with out Gordon or Jim.
maybe they need to bring back Noels House Party back, or TFI Friday.
for me, i like to read the threads just to see whats going on, but 9 /10 ive not really got anything interesting to say, so i dont bother, or either that or i spend 30 mins trying to reply to a thread then get fed up because i cant think of the right words, so i give up.
I've got to renew my membership, but if i have the spare cash i'll do so,and come along too.
