for me it has to be the Clock thread, which was around about 5 years ago... when SH used to be out of sync with the rest of the world... or was it me out of sync with the rest of the world... anyway it was the first thread i really took a great interest in.. would go in every evening and check it. and was on about 100 pages before some Evil moderator of the past decided to remove it when the clocks went back, and SH and the world was harmonised! :-)

just scanning down the list of some of the users that used to be a main part of this site.. and apart from cubes.. i think they are no longer here :-(.... they cured there additction!

it was all the way back in 2005 that it was created.... i still have most of the original art work for it.
if i recall we tried to get each month themed.... Apr = Easter... Oct = Halloween etc.
it would be a great idea to create another one.

You don't walk into a pub every couple of months and expect everyone that is in there every day to talk to you straight away.
You don't start work at a new office and expect everyone to change their routine or stop talking to their circle of friends to talk to you.
Its like most things, it takes time and effort but it can be worth it in the end :thumbup:

everyone on the site was once "new" so i'm guessing everyone has gone through that "no body seams to be talking to me" stage.. but you just have to keep working at it... just join in the converations, and the 2 rooms i find extremally freindly are both Beach bars on S2. always a freindly face inthere willing to chat (fair enough thats normally me!).
wile we are on this subject.. are there any guys that have ben circumsised at a later point in life.
only reason why i am asking.. as it is something i m thinking of going trough.. as recently it has been causing me problems and think getting rid of te excess skin may sort it.

this may sound strange coming from a swinger.. but sex is not my main drive when i want to meet someone.. i generally get to know someone on a personall level first, and meeting them is then a way of getting to know them better, and enjoying an evening(s) in their company... the sex for me is just an added bonus.
i suppose it depends on what i would be famous for... finding the cure to Cancer and the solution to making world peace work is something i could handle being famous for.... but if you mean famous in a celeb kina way.. then that has no interest.
I'm a VERY private person, and have always been, so would hate people to be looking into my every move and knowing things about me before i even did. not only that i hate being centre of attention too. rather be one of these people that view the world from the corner of the room.

To be fair, I'm not a lover of touch screens - I'm a texter/typer and the touch screen thing just doesn't do it for me.

Nokia N97 Mini - they're proper keyboards too. Sorry, Im just a fan of Nokia's :lol: Blackberrys do seems really cool like :thumbup:
i tend to be the same.. i love the N series from Nokia and every time i upgrade i go for this, as they do have a lot of good features. ( N97 is next on my list... just gotta wait another 6 months :-( )
and also the camera is top notch.... as i agree with Zeiss being the best lenses... if they can take a decent photo of Neil and Buzz on the moon, then they are good enough on my phone.
when i first joined the site back in 2004, it was quite rare to see people in there 20's the majority of people i spoke to / meet at socails were in there 30's +. i got told on many occasions that i was too young to be thinking about swinging, as i cant of learnt about myself enough.
5 years on.. and the site and Swinging in general as evoled.. more and more people are turning to swinging at a younger age.. its not so much a "keyrings and Ash trays" kinda persona.
for me personally when i am meeting people from the site i tend to go for women either my age or a little older.. it may be because i#m used to.. but i like to think that i would go for personality first. so be it, if she is 20 or 45. if we both get on.. and there are sparks, then it would be daft to shy away from it.
there are too many labelled boxes in this world.. so i try and keep well out of them all!

I've gotta say... i miss all the old munches.
i remember my first ever munch.... was in Eccles. (NW munch III) which i if i recall was hosted by Vicky-uk and Steve-G. there was te likes of Tiger-uk from Peterbough.... Lucifer from London... a couple from glasgow. and i'm sure there was one or two couples from devon too. everybody travelled to them. and was alwaya good catching up with everyone.
was chatting about memories of the olden days to a freind yesterday and its weird how daft things and comments job your memory.
i personlly try and get to other socails.. the world is too small to stay in one part.. and there are too many interesting and great people on this site that are outside the midlands. and if i was just to stick to the cov or derby socail.. i would miss them.
for me i think the Wigan munch, shows that people are still willing to travell, as this still does bring people from the NE, Midlands and on the odd time Essex.
while we are talking about the 'olden days"... here are some of my memories of the munches / parties
-- Drinking the bar @ NW III dry of alcohol
-- Midland Munch, which was my last munch before doing the whole "relationship thing"... where Dammy got the brunt of a arsy set of bouncers.. and resulting in everyone leaving early.
-- Medievil Banguete - a load of swingers in fits of giggles when the compare / jester was talking about stocks and chains. then playing giant jenga in the centre of the bar area
-- Notts Munch I - the snog action
Was diffcult seeing so many sexy ladies snogging.
-- Marcuso 40th birthday (well i think it was his 39th). small house... 150 people on the guest list... nearly all 150 turned up.. marguee in the garden.. but would anyone go out there.... NO.. so house was packed body to body... getting a beer was a challenge.
there are many many more... but i'd be listing them for an hour or more..
