My rules are to never buy clothes or jewellery. Taste in these are far too personal to the recipient.
If in doubt DVD/Blu-Ray of a title I know they like, voucher at a shop I know they shop at, get them to do a wish list at Amazon.
Failing those default stand-bys I'd have to know the person to figure out what to buy them.
Illy coffee, twice the price as usual brands but so damn tasty!
Evening primrose oil?
Hot water bottle wrapped in a towel?
Ipuprofen?
Hysterectomy?
I don't do expensive smelly stuff, but when I did I rather liked Eau Savage and occasionally Kouros. And Varca, not so much "lemony" as sherberty ;)
These days I don't even know if they make those any more.
After years of razor burn I've settled on moisturiser rather than smelly, stingy, expensive coloured water.
I can't abide food being delivered, I won't even go to the drive-thru window at McDs or KFC.
I like to see my food cooked and if I can't at least I want to see it being wrapped.
Just like chicken apparently
Without Amazon I'd be fucked at Christmas.
I don't particularly like grocery shopping online, but I do rather like the way Asda's website is set up. When I did have to use it when I had a broken leg it was a doddle to use one I'd set up my usual purchase. And like others have stated I tended to have cheaper shopping as opposed to when I wandered (especially when peckish!).
If it's posh enough for the bear to wear it then I'm sure it's fine for Nigella too.
Fur coat and no drawers mmmmm
I just wait to see if they have "Made In Taiwan" on their arses. If they have, then I know they're fake!
March 13th 2004. Ahh the memories.
