..... let us hope that the games go off without any incident eh? .......

...... let us hope what we have done and what we will do will allow the world over to enjoy the games without incident, of course there will be the odd peacefull/semi peacefull protest but we can put up with that in this day and age.
I can only agree, both my daughter and my wife are down there now, a part of the security, and the catering efforts respectively. Just hoping it all gets a lot more organised, the security team (well the worthwhile bits anyway) seem to be living in a swamp, and the catering spent 6 hours earlier on today getting passes.
I'm not even sure that Kay has seen the kitchen yet, but no doubt I will be getting a detailed report in about five minutes smile.
In the work place 'Think outside the Box' and 'Pick the low hanging fruit' always seem like they should be sort of kinky, rather than phrases issued by management (the ones who you worry if they are competent or not that is).

1. He is not a Dom - is a 4 year old abused child in a man's body with the money to take control and try to smother the demons that scare the little lad to death.

Isn't that his motivation for being a Dom?
Quote by foxylady2209
3. It isn't about BDSM - I'm no expert but just tying someone up and shagging them is just tying them up and shagging them - surely?

I'm not an expert at BDSM, but if your throw some smacking into that this, I did think that was your basic BDSM. The 'warm' glow being left by the endorphin washing around after the event.

4. "Woah" is not an expression a grown woman should repeatedly use even in her own head.

Indeed how about the expression 'Inner Goddess'?

6. If she had any self-respect at all she would have insisted on keeping her name at work, working for a company he did NOT own and the moment she found out his family knew more about the 'situation' in book 3 than she did she should have walked.
But that's just me. (I'm reading it to the end - but I am disappointed it isn't a better window into the BDSM world.)

I guess it is intended to have a wider appeal rather than the sophisticated folks of SH?

I am heavily involved in UK politics (hence no picture on my profile) and can say without doubt that there is no real difference between the main parties because all the rules, regulations and directives come from Brussels. That is why I work for another party (NOT the BNP) wanting to regain our independence.

I put the sameness of the two parties down to their evolution, and survival in the same 'ecosystem'. As an example compare a Dolphin and a Fish whilst they are very different animals, they look the same externally because the both have to survive in the sea ......
To grow big in the current UK political system a party's policies have to appeal to the masses, and compete effectively in the world economy. Taking the point about competing in the world economy I do wonder if we really have much choice about being a part of Europe?

I am curious as to how some members of this forum define socialism ... it would appear some at least are confused

From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.............
.... As I stood on my second favourite street corner, I thought back to a hour ago with Dwayne, the warmth inside that I only get from mind blowing sex. After the whipping we, well Dwayne had moved onto smacking, my lips were still sore from his coitus, and my bum crack could still feel the rubbing of his tender cock where he had eventually tried to take my arse. I knew he was content by then, and the smack would keep him so until tomorrow.
The light from the pub flickered into the shadows where I was standing as the door opened, a man walked out and into my shadows. Had he seen me, was he going to be tonight's first. Dwayne had been insistent, before slumping into his sleep, COD III wasn't going to pay for itself.
I have just read, and noted that bit JustWantFun smile. Note to Kay the Skoda Fabia is the thinking man's Audi A3 anyways, and we really only need the one car.

About 3/4 of the way thru' the first book and thinking the story is going to be along the lines of 'Pretty Woman'. That is he thinks this is going to be 'his rules' but she will turn him into vanilla husband material by the end of book three.............

Just now in the chatrooms:
50 shades of grey sub wives or just interested (7)
cp.
BDSM pleasures (2)
rotflmao

Just a suggestion as a bit of back lash you could open a chat room 'Doms who hand out Audi R8's, or just interested'.
I have only read as far as the bit where Mr Grey has noted the superb VW beetle being driven by the fem, and I am guessing where the story is likely to go next, in case I get that wrong.

I don't quite see how what happens in 50 shades has much to do with a cheating sister and husband?
precisely my point. Fifty shades character Christian grey has far less reasons to be fucked up than me... My point being i havent let everything that happened to me affect me in a so called "fucked up" manner
From what I have read of 50 shades it isn't that "fucked up" at least not from an SH point of view. Also the Mr Grey character seems to have been deliberately enticed into the lifestyle by sexual means.
As to yourself you are on also on here, if you do that for the either fun or the experience that isn't "fucked up", it would be however if you are doing it to prove a point, get back at folks, cheat on your BF.
As ip-man has said 'deal with it and move on' you may never forget, but if you can I would recommend forgiving.

discussing this with other half here and she thinks that naked, breathing, awake, putting up shelves (properly), maybe ironing, stacking the dishwasher............ Pretty much anything that shows the guy is interested in the needs of the woman.
Now I feel useless.

I always thought that when I attracted a lot of attention to an 'Ironing cam' it was down to using lots of steam ..... makes it much more exciting. Not sure how this interest related to the 'needs of the woman'?

Thank you for coming along NWC, we had a really good night as well. Next time photo's and dogging? smile
Looking forward to catching up soon as well.

Will someone please tell me about this socialist party .... the last one I remember was led by Michael Foot and died in the 80's

My better half has more than a passing knowledge of true socialism being a product of the former USSR.
With all due .... which a 'true' Socialist state works, ordered from the bottom-up.
Accepting that the USSR aren't a Socialist state, are there any good examples, at all, ever, of a 'true' Socialist state?
Perhaps Too Hot has got something here, like the USSR, they all start out as a wonderful dream, then all too quickly end up in the classic Orwellian nightmare.
Karl Marx said there wouldn't ever be a Socialist Government in Britain due in part to the 'class' system. Oh well looks like he was right anyway.
One of things I noticed of the last Labour government was that it seemed a lot more right wing than either the preceding or current government, but perhaps with a lot less thought for the long term. It would be nice to think there is a plan I'm not sure that this exists as such.
On the positive side this country has been thru' economic troubles before, and recovered. This seems to happen regardless of the politics, and indeed endemic corruption, of the government with a bit of luck it might just happen again smile.

Dam, this means I have to wear normal clothes wink
See you both next weekend

Look forward to seeing you both NWC ..... drinkies Will drop you a PM with a few more pub details.
Ah yes 'normal clothes' funny enough Kay and I had exactly this conversation earlier. I did say that as both you and Kay generally get thru' 2 or 3 outfits an evening it shouldn't be too much of a problem. We are planning on coming back here after and you can wear as much or as little as you dare (did I really put that yikes :stickysmile.

We are going to a pub in Preston on Saturday 14th July. We are having a few drinks to celebrate the fact that Kay is heading off for a few weeks. So if anybody is interested in meeting up with us socially you are more than welcome.
The plan is to head up to a pub local (PR2/Fulwood area) to us for about 7:00 PM.
Drop either myself, or Kay (kayandrobert400) an email/PM for the Pub details and anything else you may need to know.

no country will be leaving the euro. the sovereign debts of ireland, greece, portugal, spain and italy came from private banks not the citizenry. the debts were transfered from the banks by puppet governments of the banks to the respective populations (tax payers) just like here. the inter-relationship of all the banks and central banks is the source of systemic contagion and not the laziness or tax evasiveness of the people.

Nope, I think sooner or later countries will leave the Euro. The only other real possibility is a United States of Europe.
Quote by gulsonroad30664
leaving the euro is a ruse to pressurise electorate's to believe that by voting against austerity the outcome will be worse.
the international speculators and banks are after germany's soveriegn wealth fund and they need germany to backstop, underwrite, all code for 'pay the debt' thats a total fraud anyway.

Voting for and against austerity is irrelevant. The short term outcome isn't pretty.
Quote by gulsonroad30664
mercedes, bosch and seimens will be very happy with the fear of unemployment instilled in the minds of germans who will have to pay with austerity and will work harder for less while the falling value euro makes bmw's cheaper in india, china and russia.
if any debtor nation is thrown out of the euro, their creditors will not get paid but, if they remain in, germany will loose it's gold in new york (if it's still there).
the fake troll.

I do think you are reading too much into what has happened. I think Napoleons phrase 'Don't attribute to malice that which can be explained by incompetence'.
By the way the phrase is 'Germany will lose it's gold' well unless you meant to say 'loose it's gold'. Can sort of see bands of loosed German gold running round New York attacking wall street traders.
I used to think Socialism was a good idea. Then in 1997 it all changed.
Turning points for me were -
'Education education education' - then implement student tuition fees.
Afghanistan - what ever the justification Afghanistan doesn't appear to have a solution.
Iraq - the UK invaded on the grounds that they had 'Weapons of Mass Destruction' that could hit the 'UK' (Cyprus) in 45 minutes. Did the politicians really believe this 'intelligence'? Even at the time, after a spate of newspaper stories, I remember saying that this wasn't very likely (the discussion was with a work colleague who thought there was a danger of Sadam hitting Hendon).
End of Boom and Bust - need I say more.
Banking regulations - even in 1997 it was apparent these were required and it was one of the reasons I voted for a change.
..... I'm going to stop now. Most of the thread says it anyway, they're all the same.
Looking like the SFO is going to investigate the latest LIBOR 'snafu' by the banks.
Fingers crossed they will all still be able to pay their bonuses. It is hard to see how they will ever sort themselves out if all the top talent leaves because they don't get the bonus they deserve.
You have my sympathies Paddy, how long has this been going on now?
I think it is now the third week.

And given that it was originally GNV's suggestion rather than a suitcase of cash, it should probably be Gold, oops no Silver, ah .... another problem with this one. As well as Preston council struggling with receiving a small pig and two chickens, Kay is objecting to the smell coming from under the bed.

..... in my learning years I managed to bring down HBOS cash machines at 1900 on a Friday evening for 3 hours..........

Lucky for me the bank I'm planning to move my accounts to isn't either HBOS, or indeed Lloyds.
you wanna hope its not barclays either looks like they have a problem with fraud towards customers lol
If you listen to gulson, all bankers are frauds
So the list of banks implicated in the LIBOR irregularities is now RBS, HSBC, Lloyds and Barclays. Looks like gulson may have a point smile. Much muttering as to how the 'Barrow Boy' culture can be corrected, seems to me, a criminal fraud investigation and sending some people to prison might be a start.
Sadly I can't just take my savings as cash and keep them under the bed.

There is a whole argument that this sort of bonus based pay then lead to the 'Traders' (more their bosses) creating the whole mess of derivative based products that caused the banking problems in 2008. But to my mind if they are stupid enough to pay the money ......
The most recent statement from RBS I could find about where the problem occurred -
As we've said our priority is getting back to delivering normal service for our customers. We'll then do a full investigation into what went wrong.
The management and execution of the batch process is based in Edinburgh at Fettes Row, as is all the current work to resolve the problem.
Guardian - NatWest glitch: Q&A with RBS director of customer services

Which suggest that this had nothing to do with inexperienced Indian CA7 operators at all. If you were very very cynical you might look at it and note that it doesn't as such say where the group responsible for the causing the problem in the first place were located smile. You might wonder how many of the experienced CA7 administrators were recalled from gardening leave in Edinburgh......
