It seems a bit cheeky to ask to come to your birthday Munch when we don't really know you. Though I think we've been to the same Munches in the past somehow did not get to meet

As the circle turns again and samhain / halloweeen pass for this year, my mind turns to the winter solstice.
I like to send greetings to keep in touch with old friends, but I'd rather send a Solstice Card than a Cxxxxxxxx card.
I tried a bit late last year and all I could find were American sources.
Can any of you pagans out there suggest where I could find tasteful (and English) Solstice cards?

Just wondering ... Is there a sort of 'munch hotel' where a bunch of people are going to be?
It would be nice to go somewhere where other people are going to be - maybe meet up beforehand, have dinner together, go to the venue together, carry on chatting afterwards etc etc.
Last time we went to the Hotel at the top of the list, which seemed nice and I expect we'd go there again unless it turns out that somewhere else is the 'place to be'.
Naughty Wigan Couple may have an idea of where people are staying, or anyone could PM if they think company beforehand would be nice.

Sorry we've been so quiet lately - life seems to have got out of balance, as they say.
But we're working hard to get it back in balance, and a Christmas Munch seems just the thing!

Back from our hols (Cap d'Agde WOW)
We'd love to have an invite please, Naughty Wigan Couple. We had such fun at the Mini Munch in March and it would be lovely to see people again.

Only a year later, but we're in Cap d'Agde in the second half of June this year ...
We know our way round a bit from last year, but find it is more fun to go to clubs etc with people we have already met. Would be particularly good with Swinging Heaven members!

Especially thanks to Marcuso for organising it all - you are indeed a great party organiser! Loved all the changes of costume, and it was great to see the red shorts in the flesh, so to speak, (or with flesh within them) instead of just on screen.
Thanks to everyone for being so friendly and introducing us around. Good to chat to Dave and Lynda and Mr and Mrs Studenttrucker and hope to see you again.

Love those sweet little dancing figures - pity they don't sing too. Oh god, what did I say, maybe someone knows how to make them sing, and they'll take over the world.

The British Naturism website also has lists of beaches by regions
We were naturists for many years but dropped out a bit until last year when we started to look for a local (Yorkshire) club. The thing is they vary hugely in their facilities and atmosphere, and we felt the only way was to go round visiting, starting with the ones that were within easiest reach of where we live - we thought if they were too far away, we'd never get there, not being campers!
It often took time to arrange a visit - many of them keep their identity and location a bit private for obvious reasons, so you have to go through phone messages and emails. But most were answered fairly quickly, and they were welcoming once they had established we were genuine enquirers.
Haveing said all that, I'm not sure we made the right choice (not in Yorkshire) - probably because we are too busy with swinging and talking naturist holidays abroad - or both at the same time.
Anyway, I hope you find somewhere to suit you, it's great to be outsdoors with the sun on your body ....

Thanks for your advice - I think both of you are right. I have now read my 'alert'' email more carefully and it does say I won't get any more emails until I have used the link to revisit the thread AND it suggests that I need to take a positive step to stop future emails by clicking the 'stop watching this thread button'. I'm still not sure this is how it works, so I shall conduct an experiment!

The most important thing is that the listings are UP TO DATE ie the Club really is functioning. All the rest is extra.
Came to this one a bit late (due to weekend in New York, poor us). But hope that the problem has eased up during the missing few days.
I suffer from back pain from time to time (like everyone else on the site, it seems). My recommendation is (once it's better) to do regular exercises to prevent the next episode. Nothing spectacular, just standard physio sort of stuff. Including arching the back like a cat (or you might call it the doggy exercise).
Anyway, all the best and hope the improvement is continuing.

So glad to see this discussion - even if it has been had before. After all, it intimately (ha ha) concerns what brings us together (unlike smoking). There IS a lot of misinformation about, so it's particularly good when people give links to reputable websites.
I personally belong to the 'better safe than sorry' brigade - or alternatively explore the delights of all the other erogenous zones.....
