Totally agree with both comments! Sadly some guys think because it's a swinging site, and therefore involves sex, that somehow that makes it a meat market.
Unfortunately it's an attitude that just ruins it for everyone.

Totally agree with you there. It seems everyone is affected by it, rather than those it's meant to target. I still maintain there ought to be a better way. The real problem it seems to me is that the current system cannot tell the difference between someone who has been 'kicked', or temporarily banned, and someone whose internet connection has dropped out, or worse still when the SH site is playing up, as it clearly is this morning.
If there something can be done about this distinction it would solve a lot of issues, and perhaps reduce the number of complaints. If nothing can be done perhaps a comment somewhere on the chatroom page would make people understand the technical difficulties?

Sounds like you're being honest sparky33, but maybe it says too much and may come across as slightly confusing. It seems to me that you are fairly open minded, in terms of women and their shape and size, willing to consider anyone providing there is that 'spark".
I think that you may consider deleting what you've written but keep;
My tastes are varied, and I'm more attracted to a pretty face than a good body, I'm no Adonis and I don't delude myself by making silly requests as to how a woman should look, if I'm attracted I'm attracted, if I'm not I'm not.

The reason I spell words incorrectly amazes me as I know the difference between where and wear, yet often I will write the wrong one without noticing. I always have to read back. Same happens with my speech only it's words tripping up because I'm thinking of a word where I know the meaning but not sure how it is said or something like that.

I think I must have a similar problem? My brain's either racing ahead, or I'm thinking about something else, while my mouth is having the same conversation. If that makes any sense?

This is inspired by a thread posted by venus68. On reading her Words that trip you up! I smugly thought my spelling is pretty good … well normally. However when it comes to speaking there are certain words that trip me up. No matter how I try it comes out wrong … in fact so wrong even I can hear it as it comes out. I developed all sorts of techniques to combat it but they still sound out.
The interesting thing is they're similar types of words: tragedy, strategy etc. So there must be some physiological condition or something. Please say it's not just me. sad

I know this is really silly but on Radio 4 today one of the presenters, reporting on the Olympic Games, tried very hard NOT to laugh at "… Great Britain's coxless four …", so she took a deep breath, composed herself and said …

Well said Minx. I think there is a tendency, and not only from single men, to think that anyone on the site will shag anyone, or want to be shagged by anyone. Some people are only here for the social side and not after meeting for sex, but there are some who think that because it's a swinging site it's also a 'meat market'.
A more relaxed and patient view is the best approach I think.

I think that's why the term was adopted for being gay. The arts were seen as a refuge for outrageous, and unconventional behaviour, where alternative lifestyles were accepted.
Now with more and more men 'showing their feminine sides' the term has become somewhat redundant, but it's still used as a short hand.

If it's a recent problem you may be encountering interference. Is there anything that has recently appeared near you that contains metal or would act like an aerial?
You may try enabling "Interference Robustness" (on the Mac), but this can also reduce overall performance of your wireless network.

This 5 minute problem keeps coming up and seems to upset more people than it solves any problem with people being kicked.
Crucially when servers are playing up, as server 1 seems to have done in the past couple of days, you are subject to the 5 minute delay through no fault of your own. The effect of this is to anger and upset innocent people who were not angry and upset before the delay.
Those who have been kicked, and think it has been unjustified, merely use the 5 minutes to fester and fume, and then come back with greater venom.
Clearly the current situation is not working. It seems more people complain against it rather than for it. Surely there has to be another way.
