I brought back 2 large bags of sticks from Africa.
On departure it was a Malawi table and 2 chairs. On the luggage carousel at Heathrow it was firelighters.
On that particular trip I managed to bring home 63kilos of luggage without paying an excess. At the time I did not realise they would be dragging my luggage behind the plane rather than in the hold.

Chirst - here was me thinking poo sifting was a bit too disgusting to talk about - and some bloke is writing about it in the gaurdian.
I think its fairly safe to say after reading that article I'm abandoning the search. I can't wait 20 years for it to reappear and so far I've only been taking coffee orally.
The cruel turn of events that lead me drive round London this morning for an hour, with a bag of poo in my handbag has really made me think that I actaully quite like having a gap in my teeth.

Now I somehwat optimistically booked into the dentist for this morning as he said he could glue it back in for a tenner. I was hoping for a last minute treausre hunt this morning but :cry: nothing!

Good advice to stay clear of peanuts or anything else that might get my hopes up.
Now I'm just waiting.
Just read an interesting article about "Vacation Dentistry" wher you combine a tour of Budapest with a stay in a 5Star Spa hotel with agonising oral surgery for a couple of hundered quid - this is option 2 - if the original Number 2 thing doesn't work out

I spoke to the lady from Scottish Encounters after reading the details on their site. She assured me that photos were not for "are you beautiful enough" but just for everyones security. She did seem a very nice and up front sort of person. I felt fairly confident about either meeting up or sending photos to her ~ after all I would expect to do that for a priate meeting and I think the events were held in their home (can't recall totallly - so stand to be corrected).
In the end I decided against joining as I didn't think the type of meetings they had were not for me.

The quality of life is not only based on welfare provision. If it were then why spend anything on anything else ever.
Sport (and arts for that matter) are an essential part of our being. There is nothing wrong with creating a legacy of fulfilling aspirations and dreams.
My understanding of the financial aspects are that the cost of the bid will now be covered by income generated as a result of the event so I can' t see the problem. The increase in council tax (which will still never bring it anywhere close to my £1400 band D in Scotland
) will be paid by those who stand to benefit most interms of improved facilities.
On a personal level the entrapuer in me just immediately started thinking "Now how am I going to make money out of this and have great time doing it." And I beleive that other entrapeneurs will all be thinking the same thing - as a result we get more economic growth, scientific development, social awareness. The knock on effects are huge and far reaching.
Okay I'm not saying that hosting the Olympics is going to improve your dental care - but I really do think there will be more +'s than -'s.

I unfortunately will not be going anywhere. My car was broken into overnight and my phone has been stolen :cry: Luckily my phone is insured so I'll get an new one but apparetnly I still have to pay for the £150 of calls they made to Jamaica in the middle of the night before I reported it stolen!!!
So combined with the £60 for a new windscreen I'd say my Munch budget is gone. I'm afraid I will not be able to make it.
I'm so dissappointed as I was positivley twinkling in anticaption and my Sparkly outfit will have to wait for its first outting :cry:

I've never been able to run defrag except in safemode. I never thought that I would have a virus or spyware running. Do you think I have?
My PC is used by other so I am always running adaware and spybot and I have upto date Norton anti virus. When I took over this machine I deleted 700 items with my first run of spybot!!! But now I only ever delete about 1 a week.
