In answer to the question "what does swinging mean to you"
To us, the word "swinging" means having sex with other people as a couple. "we are swingers"
But what it does mean to us is that we enjoy the friendship of others swingers. If we have sex with them then that is just a bonus. We have met many people from this site that we think of as friends. Some of these friends we have had a swinging relationship with and others we haven't and won't. The ones that we won't swing with are people that don't fit in to what we are looking for and vice versa, never the less, they are still friends.

As for the single guys on here. We have had the pleasure in meeting many of them at munches, parties and in our own home and can honestly say that they were all kind, considerate, mature and thoughful. We have never met any sad, desparate or pathetic single guys from this site.

Yes steve, i overheard a conversation about me.
It was my mother in law that had called me for whatever reason then didn't hang up properly. I heard her say the most horrible things about me that were totally untrue. I told my hubby to listen to it and he said to hang up, how could i, i kept listening and was so hurt and upset that i never talked to her again.
Hubby eventually told her that i had heard the conversation she was having about me and she wrote me a lovley card full of apologies but i couldn't give a toss.
Maybe i should not have carried on listening but could you stop listening to something like that, no matter how much it is upsetting you.
To this day i have never spoken to her and thankfully she is no longer my mother in law.

We came across the site by accident. We typed in dogging and this site popped up.
As it was dogging we were looking for at the time we started browsing the dogging section and realised that not much happens up here.
We then started using the chatroom for a while and started meeting guys for fun.
Then we found the forum. The swinging thing was second to meeting and chatting with lovely people. It was like an addiction.
We went along to our first munch absolutely bloody terrified, had many drinks to calm the nerves and met many lovely and genuine people that were interesting and funny. We didn't think of swinging that night at all, the social aspect was great.
We then followed a thread on the forum about a party that was coming up. It sounded like a party that we might enjoy so eventually plucked up the courage to ask for an invite, wow, we were on the list. Off we travelled south of the border, petrified yet again but what a buzz. Again, we met lots of fantastic people that made us so welcome.
We have since been to another munch and what a night it was, brilliant people, funny, relaxing night out and a fab after munch party, what a laugh.
We have a few other events looming but we can honestly say that swinging is at the back of our minds when we go to these. We think of it as meeting lovely people that we can chat with and make friends with. If it feels right have fun with.
It is very liberating especially for us as Del is a and is accepted in all the groups of people that we have met.
So, back to the original question. We are swingers but the social aspect is above and beyond sex for us. If we have sex it is a bonus.
Looking forward to meeting the rest of you guys some day.
