its allens birthday on easter monday so we have decided to go out for a drink and maybe if people want to a meal afterwards. I know it is short notice but we are planning to meet mid afternoon and then at least if people got work on tuesday they can get back home at a reasonable time let us know and then we will send u details of where we r meeting everyone is welcome
our dog who unfortunately died last week was crazy she did many a crazy thing. When she was younger she used to get her nose and paws under the fridge door and help herself to bacon etc well not just herself at that time we had two dogs and she used to take the food she had stolen to him who would stay lying in his basket. Also a couple of years ago I remember a time when Allen shouted her and she came running out of the kitchen and insteadof going around the coffee table she decided she would jump over it that was really funny to watch
normally family would be kept informed of any change in health of a service user. I would think that you have a strong case for a complaint against this home and it appears that they will have gone against CSCI regulations. If your brother is unable to make his own decisions then they should give family the opportunity to be involved in that decsion making also they should inform social services who would assist in finding an advocate. the reason why they want to ban smacking of children is there can sometimes be a fine line between what is classed as a smack and what can be contstituted as child abuse. I believe that we have now reached the stage as a nation where it should be banned to protect children from some people who are perhaps too violent in their smacking and also to protect adults from the fact there will always be someone who will turn round and say it is child abuse. Remember the amounts of children who were taken from their families in the 90's due to the cleveland child abuse case and the lives of those families were wrecked when in many cases the child abuse couldnt be proven.
