wifey only played for the first time 9 months ago - i was initially nervous and a little jealous, but she kept eye contact with ME all the time as she was playing with another guy - that helped a lot as i knew she was focusing as much on watching me have pleasure as her own.... and everything has worked out fine. J was nearly two years plucking up the courage for the fifrst time in taking it from fantasy to reality. A couple of experiences have been better than others, and we have some clearly defined rules!
so in all - like above posts you REALLY have to BOTh be sure!

Why Oh Why do people take the time and trouble to advertise and then give absolutely no response whatsoever!
My wife and I play both seperately and together, and we always at least drop a polite 'no' email to pretty much everyone who emails (unless they are just totally rude/offensive or have not read at all our adverts). We think it just polite to do so. People often mail back amazed that we have taken the trouble, and sometimes it has allowed us to open a dialogue with someone we have originally rejected. We have met a few people and had very good times with people we have originally rejected but have sent a nice polite mail to thank us for taking the trouble to write back.
As J is away for a couple of weeks, I've responded to a few ads - politely, ensuring i have met the ad's requiremnts (i know how annoying it is when people don't respond in the way you ask!) and have not had a single response!
Why not just take a few moments to just fire off a standard reply at worst? Politeness does not hurt or cost money!

Well....... looks like i'm going to be playing Billy No Mates on Wednesday night, my usual shag buddy being unavailable!
I'll be stopping in a Manchester hotel ready for an early(!) flight on Thursday morning - off to play in the snow in Switzerland.

Mods are obviously all gonna stick together and as i'm not regular enough and part of the clique I'm not allowed to express an opinion without getting slagged for it.
Mods replies are always ultra defensive - even my point (also pointed out by another in the thread) that the Cafe description is anything and everything - so why not even consider it might just possibly be worth changing it.
Anyway...... due to the collective responses and general attitude of people here - I'll take an earlier suggestion and find the door.
Pity really......... but I'll stick to my other two forums in future - where there isn't the ill feeling, rudeness and back biting which is pervading here.
I can hear the mods cheering now.... :D :D

When you look back its so OBVIOUSLY the main area of grief and ill feeling ( growing) on the forum.
I personally moderate two other forums so know exactly the thankless task that mods have to do...... so rather than continue to create the 'us and them' or 'clique' that many have referred to why not just dreate an off topic area for chatting - it works well on other forums and reduces work for mods and saves ill feeling.
To the senior Mods I'd personally be a little concerned that several people have been leaving the forum over this issue and there is generally quite a bit of ill feeling for what is supposed to be a fun and liberated place?
I have received PM's from people basically agreeing with previous comments, but not willing to post publicly....... that can't be a good vibe can it?
Finally - if the current policy of thread locking is to continue why not change the wording of the description of the cafe - and also the posting rules to confirm to newer (and established) users that off topic threads are not allowed?

Earlier today Bignetsuke posted a simple question asking for help..... the thread was locked by a mod before she got an answer.

I posted a couple of replies pointing out this seemed a bit harsh, and then in effect got slagged off and told not to 'upset Mods'!!!!!!!!!
Now I'm really puzzled as to why a mod decided this post should be locked- and with such a negative attitude as well as this is the Cafe - and is for - and I quote......
The Cafe - For General discussion and chit Chat
and to quote the Posting Guidelines.....
"The Cafe is for anything and everything"
And
"we try to run a relaxed forum, We're all adults and this is NOT an attempt to restrict free speech or stifle diversity"
So I'm just a bit puzzled really - there are certainly far worse posts - often by SH regulars that don't get canned?
