We have decided that ths event will be on 19/20 May..
I have spoke to the manager at the hotel this morning they know we are from a swingers site and we have held weekend parties there before..they are quite happy for to take large bookings - there is 67 rooms & 48 en suite.. the cost is £ 25 ppp night..
The Hotel i itself is pretty basic & clean, the bar area is open all night..and there is usually disco/karaoke or some other form of entertainment on ! It is also about 10 mins walk to town centre.
There's seems to be quite a few interested so we are going to go ahead and make this a definete weekend..

probably will be be held in May :D but as I say we don't wish to coinside with other events going on at the same time

We are organising a Social weekend in Blackpool. with the option of a swinging club on the Sat night
this will be May 19/20 and it therefore will be for regular users of the site :P ..
The hotel we are using is a swingers hotel !
there will be a social meet up on the friday night and the option of club on the Sat night.
We have made arrangements with the owners of the club - normally it's couples only on a Sat night - although singles on our list will be welcome - they have also kindly offered a discount for both couples & singles,( there is an option of 2 clubs both have offered discount!

Now I may be wrong here 'cause it's been known to happen ( No Honestly!!) but,
I reckon that it was an EXCEPTIONALLY good mix of singles, both male and female, and couples at the recent Glasgow Munch.
I certainly didn't see any out numbering by single guys but would be interested in knowing if my perceptions were wrong.
Perhaps it's just that so many of us are like one big happy family and single or "coupled" status doesn't make any difference to the way we behave in company.

Totally agree with you Laird.. although there was single guys and single fems at the Glasgow munch the majority was couples - everyone did mingle well just like one big happy family! the atmosphere was brilliant ... munches are sociable events as most of you know they are open to all regular users of SH
there is quite a big scottish contigent on this site!
We recently held a Scottish munch in Glasgow.. which was a brilliant turnout and fantastic night!
people also came up from afar as London . Essex. Machester. sheffield :D to be there :P
