i personally choose not to post a pic to ensure my when meeting anyone i also never request a pic as the not knowing adds a certain risque fun element.
however most adds insist on you sending a pic which is their right
all it means is those that prefer anonimity get less responses. anyone can post a pic that isnt them, but why lie,you wont get any further and risk being 'outed' on the site

ouch...reading the first page of this thread was scary....had to skip straight to page four just to find out if anyone had been murdered!
I knew the site had changed but didnt realise that it was such a big thing/catastrophe in the eys of so many regulars.
from my viewpoint i am not a newbie and also not a long term daily contributor...but...
my pm /email box is easier to understand
the adverts pages seem as easy to trawl
the 'my friends' button helps me go back and look for details of those not yet contacted
the 'lets meet' section actually is starting to resemble one, instead of being clogged with club/munch invites.
and as far as i can see , idiots can still be banned
i ask myself, would i like to be on a site with ten members and 80% of them female?...sigh....8 women...of course i would. ...but would i also want to be on a site with 377, 000 members including several thousand women?....definately!!!

Are you asking whether ' trust ' is the most important element in a succesful relationship that involves swinging?...if so i would agree that it has to be an ingredient.
Although i honestly think that open discussion prior to entering the scene is key . I can only comment from the point of view of a dogger, but so many couples appear to be in the scene from the instigation of only one half of the partnership and in my experience that seems to be from the male half.

i dont know whether dogging can be catogorised into whether there is just a show or whether full on sex with participation is involved. I think the term just relates to the illicit and unknown expectation and not to what happens during the situation That i suppose is the beauty, not knowing what will appear or if anything will happen.
however i do think the scene has changed. Everyone now knows the term and what it involves, hence the added proliferation of boy racers and police.
Whereas up to a year ago it was just simply sitting in a car and hardly ever talking to anyone whilst waiting, it now appears to be part of the scene to make friends and openly discuss every aspect

there are several other leic sites still open and not particularly advertised...hence nice n quiet
the (listed)northern leic (B) site that took over from groby has a lot of police prescence and the car parks altho wooded in the main are only small and not easy to avoid being swamped by new cars...once they are in they see you
