stupid, yes, but I must admit from a scientific angle, I expected the bike to slew off and crash. I was thinking the two dummies being in the centre should not have been effected by centrifugal force , but as they were not "exactly" central I guess the critical speed was attained (mind you, letting go was not wise)...... Oh well in next weeks lesson we shall be looking at what happens when a large dense object ( A train) meets a smaller but denser object ( our mate with the moped) !
well the xp firewall is rather pathetic i think ! Norton is a good antivirus but as a 3rd line of defence I personally use spybot/spyware blaster. free and works ! oh and this postcode thing...with a full postcode you get streets but unless you have a unique address (thinks number one, buck house london !) then its still vague, but I agree a bit too close for comfort.
I took a look at your profile kissme, and it is well vague ! As you don't list a private e mail box, then whoever has been hassling you should be tracable by the webmaster.

As regards spam you may get via your own home e mail ( not related) then get your firewall,antispy/spam blocker up to date and you should have no more trouble there are plenty of good (free) ones off the net.

. well one could try bribing, or why not just keep dialing random numbers. Thing is , phone wise , you "have" the number already, but not the details ! and back to computers, is why spam is vague! they have your live ip, no real details. Happy thing is that in this case its from a tracable source within SH. I would think. outside, I myself get very few odd stuff because of firewalls,anti virus and spamblockers If you want a example of getting back at these ...er people, there is a . thing called "scambusters 419" its to do really with advance fee fraud or just look up "gilbert murray " on the net funny !
not quite dambuster, you can get reverse directories, number = details ( if not x directory ) but generally its name, adress, = listed number. ( if not x d ) of course the phone company know who you are to send you bills and stuff, but they can't give that info out to the public. The police can get it though.
the ip adress is that of where your internet provider "lives" . not your home ! If you go joining naughty illegal websites the cops can go to your internet provider and ask for the details of their I , as an individual cannot. I could find out your ip adress easy enough, and go there ( the great big saterlight dish on the roof may be a slight give away ! ) but it will only be an office of BT, Telewest etc etc etc.
Email is much the same, I can pm you all now through SH, but if you have your "home" pm adress like xyz at......co. uk then you will get it through your own I will still not know your real name or address. this is how spam works. funny it was mentioned about you having no fire wall !
