Violence is violence, regardless of the size of the attacker or their gender. Lets face it, most drunk people are not much of a threat if they are really tanked up. However the angry drunk that is not incapable of standing is a risk.
I would hazard that if you are caught unawares or with some form of weapon once you are down on the floor you are in real danger, regardess of who is kicking you. I would also prosocute anyone who attacked me, and I would have no issue if they were female or male.
The fact I am so large would mean a court would be unlikely to beleive that I had not started the fight, or could not have won it is another matter. So is there a stigma, yes, would I care, not a bit...
(From a family where Mum regulary put Dad in hospital, but I know you were not after domestic violence so tried to base this on what I have seen on the street)

To contradict myself as well, I like the new logo concept as I have said. However the pose of the lady in our current one is a very powerful one. Says I know what I want, and I am going to get it to me. She looks confident.
Now the new one is very demure, I like the wings and arty style, but she is still not very confident. Just another thought for the mix.

I suppose the lone woman is because of the currant logo, and the almost mythacal attraction of the lone female swinger. You could have a log of 1 lone woman and 750 blokes as well though ;)
Personally given the damage false accusations cause I would protect both the accuser and the accused in or sexual cases until we have a conviction. That protects the innocent (as you are innocent until proven guilty) while still allowing reporting of those found to be guilty. It may even help change attitudes as trials will become less interesting unless they are found guilty, so you will hear more about the successful ones.

Although I can sympathise with why people responded to if a woman does not say "no" in a clear fashon. While a man should be sure (and it should be easy to tell) if someone is willing you can see why if asked people may veer towards this answer. Especially after the news of a woman today, indicating in court that she could not remember if she consented or not (through drink). While she may regret what she did in the morning, surely before accusing a man of (which carries a heavy prison sentance, and rightly so) you should be sure what you did?
Obviously cases where the woman is unconcious she did not consent, or you have spiked her drink, etc are clear. However if everyone goes out together, everyone gets drunk, and you say "yes" you cant change your mind in the morning and call that a . I dare say there are a few men who have woken up in the morning and been unhappy with the night before... I think that this is totally different to my view of where some form of force, either psycological (fear) or physical is used. It is very sad that people are saying this case will lead to women not coming forward about genuine . However it was irritating to hear this man after being aquited being called a " " and villanised. We do not have all the facts in the case, and we should go with the courts decision, neither calling the woman a lier, or the man a .
Equally on the original point I would like to know what the actual questions were, and what the answers offered were. It is easy to bias research by loaded questions to support a perception. I hope this was not done.

Actually I am almost T Total cause I can be mad without drink anyways I now can defend myself (all hail Aikido) but still avoid trouble and have been attacked in the street and hospitalised in the past in broad daylight (twice), oh and I HATE football with a vengeance.
I suppose assumptions people make about me are useful in that normally I don't get troubled out and about, but I despair when I want to help and peeps too scared to ask me due to my size. Should see the look on the old ladies faces when I politely in my Surrey oxford accent offer to get something down off the top shelf (of Sainsburys you dirty minded lot). I think that sets a few assumptions back, ignore the long hair and terrible dress sense there is a softy underneath...

Well I am going to break with my esteemed collegues (or most of them) in saying I liked it. Obviously it won't fit in the current site design, but a white cleaner design I think would look good with the subtle colours of the logo.
Having said that (following the expert redrawing of postie) I think some redesign of the shape is called for, but conceptually I like it.
