Hey...good on ya but I somehow doubt we'll see much more response. It seems very quiet round here nowadays!
Looks like another night of badger watching.....:-)......seems the beaver isn't a native of these parts.....
I thought people mostly dogged in cars.
(sorry, I couldn't help it....the old ones are the worst, aren't they?)
Good on ya. Spread the word. I remember going through something similar, talking about the D&S scene when I was vaguely into it. It's nice to be able to explain that a scene isn't necessarily the way that "outsiders" perceive it...that there's love and respect and trust...and that without those elements it just doesn't work.
Tractor. Good all round visibility, big tyres for bonking against, loads of torque for getting out of the biggest potholes and no f*cker in a Fiat Punto is going to mess with you.
Hey....where's the "never" option? Plenty of people out there haven't even had a whiff! I should know, I speak from experience.....
Horrible experience. It's good to see that you're finding the strength to move on from this.
One of the guys that works for me was mugged and beaten a month or so back - he was set on by a gang of four men who punched him to the ground and then gave him a good kicking before taking his phone and running off. He's recovering, thank God. Unusually, the attackers were caught as it was all picked up on CCTV and the Police were able to track the men very quickly. This particular attack seems to have been at least partly racially motivated as they called him a "fucking " whilst delivering the attack....which is kind of ironic as he's Welsh and just happened to have a heavy tan and goatee beard at the time. Bloody morons.
GOD yes......the one I can't stand is when they get sufficiently bored that they start fighting like cat and dog. The other day it was over one of those bloody Wonka bar things....I'd been stupid enough to only buy one and then suggest sharing it. Mind, it's not as bad as the Cadbury bars...what sadistic git in product development came up with a choccie bar that splits into seven chunks? I mean, what use is THAT? Unless you're living with the seven dwarves, that is.....
Aha....pandering to twin fetishes, I see....rubber AND the wet scene. I'm impressed.
Yf
Hmmmmm......I would deign to be auditioned for the ladies' favours. My credentials are:
7'2" tall with an 18" appendage, the face and body of a young Adonis, the charm of Errol Flynn and a bank account that would make the Marquis of Bath look like a street doorway dweller. I also hold a BA (hons) in Advanced Lying and Bullshit Technology and turn an interesting shade of purple when over-excited.

I prefer to think of myself as a couple.
Last night I went down to the well-known riverside site near Richmond and, bloody HELL, the place was lit up like a fairground. There looked to be three or four portable "location" type units, a double decker bus, vans, caravans, utility vehicles, etc. At first I thought the New Age Travellers had moved in but it all looked far too businesslike and organised. Are they making a film or something? Obviously any kind of under-dashboard activity was completely out of the question!
Maybe someone knows how long these people are going to be down there??? Even more to the point, any suggestions about where to go in the meantime???? Keep 'em polite, please.... :-)
Following a hard day beating my staff (nuge nudge) I didn't have a shower before not bothering to go last night, so I suppose I should apologise to the people I didn't offend with an overdose of pheromones and underarm man-fragrance.....
Oh....and it's good to know that the entire population of Luton have now come out of the closet.
Oooohhh, this sort of silver-tongued charmer makes me wish I was girlie...... :-)
Oh-kay.....my only problem with committing to not attending a munch that doesn't exist is that, by expounding a double negative, do I mean I've said I'm actually going?
Ach, what the hell, my brain hurts.....put me down anyway. And I'll be bringing Sharon Stone to hold my coat.
Ha. I've some HUGE woodlice in the garden at the moment. Big bastards, they are. The ones that curl up, though, are usually called pillbugs.
Earlier in the year I watched a butterfly chasing a bumblebee across a meadow for at least 15 minutes. Persistent little thing, it kept on the tail of that bee, round and round, up and down. I thought at first it was attracted by the smell of pollen but, when I read that butterflies are mainly influenced by colour, I decided that it's principal purpose in the chase must be sodomy.
I'm in Middlesex right now and it's raining. Do I win a prize?
I think trolls should be blocked, yes....but for the rest it's a difficult subject. As a newbie I'm trying to gently enter the online community and the advice that clearly comes forward is to make lots of posts on the board. Getting the balance right between being too vocal and too silent is difficult when seeking to promote one's self in the hubbub, as is determining what's meaningful and what's drivel. I'm doubtless already guilty of putting up some pointless posts.
IMHO, any community of this size is going to generate a large amount of traffic and the most effective way of dealing with it is to further split the board and make sub-communities. I'm already amazed that the mods can keep up with it.
Interesting question - I'll be fascinated to see other opinions. I get the depressing feeling that the straight answer is "no", but then I suppose one never knows, so the logic of placing this type of post has to be valid - if you're not in, you can't win.
In a conversation with a dogger late one night he said to me "It's a lot like fishing, you chuck in your hook on the offchance, not knowing if there's anything there, and you've got to have plenty of patience".
Got a bit of a fright last night.....
I was on the A30 near Heathrow. The car in front was an old Sierra, four-up, all of the inmates had luxurious, flowing hair and I was sure I could see some exotic cloth, too. One even had a headband. Aha, I thought, hippy chicks, bound to be some barely restrained bosom puddings on display. Worth a leer.
So...at the next set of lights, I drew up alongside and peered across. Looking back at me, stonefaced, were four elderly men wigged up and dressed as American Indians.
The lights changed and I stalled the car.....
I must stop sniffing this Mr Sheen stuff.
