The bored housewife looking for sex with the tradesman or whoever appears on the doorstep is surely an urban myth.

I started my working life as a chimney sweep but the only breast I saw was the chimney’s breast.  Maybe I was too mucky for the lady of the house so I became an electrician.

As an electrician the only thing I saw bare were wires.  Maybe I was too shocking for the lady of the house so I became a carpet fitter.

As a carpet fitter the only thing I got to lay was underlay.  Maybe I was too rug ged! So I became a door to door salesman

As a door to door salesman the only knockers I handled were door knockers.  Maybe I sold my wares too well and not myself!  So I became a postman.

As a postman the only box I put anything in was a post box.  Maybe I was too much of a male man!

So I became a plumber.

As a plumber I entered the house and the lady of the house said “Stop cock, right there” and she wasn’t pointing at my tool bag.

So I have had no luck and as I am tall dark and handsome (what all ladies want) then I can only conclude that the sex starved bored housewife is an urban myth.
