I’m 54 years old, 6 foot tall, in reasonable shape (although I could perhaps do with a bit more time in the gym) and have been told by women that I’m good looking for my age (although its possible that’s said out of kindness). I’m very successful professionally and well-known enough in my field to lecture abroad frequently. I enjoy the travel and my other interests include politics, history, philosophy and the arts.

I’ve just emerged from a twenty-year dysfunctional relationship, which started vanilla and then went down hill from there. It’s not quite a case of needing a manual, but I’ve not had much experience lately. I’m hoping to discover what I’ve been missing. I’m not sure what I’m looking for but I know it’s not more of the same. My fantasy life includes sex with more than one person, BDSM and having a partner who is free to enjoy other lovers (which, for some reason, I find quite exciting).

Right now, I don’t feel I’m the sort of person who could easily have sex without getting to know someone, so talking and meeting would be important in the first instance. Ideally, I’d like to have a relationship – either a friendship with benefits or, if the right person comes along, something more meaningful - with a woman who shares my interests but who likes the idea of swinging. Maybe its a dream, but there must be an intelligent woman out there who also yearns for a life that is not bound by convention.
