My wife and I are a fairly ordinary late-60’s couple, both retired with an ordinary hum-drum life. I like to play golf and Sue does ‘womanly’ things such as shopping for clothes and keep fit. Sue is 5’ 1”, a little overweight but I would describe her as nicely rounded.
We rediscovered our love life a couple of years ago, since when we have discovered the swinging lifestyle during a holiday on the south coast in our touring caravan. We had met another couple who were active swingers and had ended up attending a house party with them, and we both had a really good time. After we returned home, we talked about the experience from time to time, but neither of us seemed particularly keen to advertise on swingers’ internet sites with a view to doing it again. We live in a fairly ordinary small town, so we have lots of neighbours and we see many other people in the streets going about their daily lives, and you wouldn’t think any of them had any sexual needs whatsoever.
From time to time, I don’t mind accompanying Sue on a shopping trip to the local Waitrose when we need a few odds and ends of provisions – not enough to justify taking the car, so we get a bit of exercise and see some of our neighbours who we wouldn’t ordinarily meet. I like Waitrose as you get to see a better class of customer, from yummy-mummies with time on their hands while the kids are at school, to older smartly dressed women who I find equally attractive. Sue used to describe me as a bit of a letch although, since we discovered the swinging lifestyle, she admits considering whether the men we see might be suitable sexual partners.
We were in Waitrose one day, I was carrying the basket while Sue selected things from the shelves and dropped them in. I wasn’t thinking of anything in particular, just sort of day dreaming, with a bit of people watching, when I realised there was a lady, slim build and fairly smartly dressed, probably mid-40s, standing about 3 yards ahead of us, who appeared to be staring at me. As this doesn’t normally happen to me, I was not sure how to react but, after a moment, I smiled and she smiled back. It was only then that I realised that Sue was standing right beside me and she was smiling too. We stood there for a few moments, apparently transfixed with each other, before she said something like “well, must get on” and walked past us. Sue and I looked at each other, smiled not knowing what to say and moved on.
At the checkout, we were immediately behind our new ‘friend’, Sue exchanged a few words with her and, having packed her bags, she went outside. When we had completed our purchases, we followed her and found her standing beside the door. She smiled again, clearly aimed at both of us, introduced herself as Helen, and asked if we fancied a coffee in the Waitrose café. As we had not purchased any frozen foods that might spoil if we did not hurry home, we readily agreed, and we spent quite some time in the café getting to know each other. Helen explained that her husband, Martin, had died of cancer about 3 years ago. The illness had developed shortly after they moved to the town 5 years ago and she had been devastated initially after his death. They had no children and Helen had no wish for another man in her life – well there goes my fantasy! She was actually 53 years of age – yet again, my judgement of a lady’s age proves poor, so I normally don’t try to guess nowadays – but she wore it very well. She worked 3 days a week as a secretary in a local solicitor’s office but Martin had been in a company pension scheme which had left her well provided for, so she didn’t really have to work. Helen had made a few female friends locally and was ‘content’ with the way her life had developed. She had noticed Sue and I around town a few times and had thought we looked just like she and Martin would have looked in 10 years’ time. When we had come face to face in Waitrose, Helen had on impulse decided she would like to get to know us better. By the time we had finished our coffee and began to leave, it occurred to me that Helen had told us a great deal about herself, so she clearly did want to get to know us better.
Sue had clearly taken to Helen, and she suggested Helen might like to join her at Sue’s weekly Zumba fitness class, which happened to be on Thursdays, when Helen didn’t work, and arrangements were made for them to meet at the local sports centre the following Thursday. Sue said she would book Helen in the day before when she did the same for herself. As we began to say our farewells, we realised that we would be walking in the same direction, and it emerged that Helen lived only a few streets away from us. As we arrived home, we agreed what a nice new friend we had made – although it ran through my mind that Helen seemed to be more interested in Sue’s friendship.
The week went by and Thursday duly arrived. I was playing golf, which I often do that day, and off I went to the golf club first thing. When I arrived home early afternoon, Sue was still out, which was unusual, but I concluded that she was probably socialising some more with Helen, so I proceeded to have my shower as usual. Sue arrived home about 4.00 pm and she looked ‘flustered’. After a few moments, she explained that, after the fitness class, Helen had suggested that they go to her house for coffee and a chat. To cut a long story short, they had ended up making love – which Sue said was ‘wonderful’ – they had then had a shower together in the double-sized shower in Helen’s en-suite – which Sue said was very nice – and then they had made love again – which Sue said was even more wonderful! I think I should leave it to Sue to tell you the full version in part 2, but I should mention that Sue and I rushed upstairs immediately and I fucked her like a man possessed!
