Part Two...

Cutting a long story short, we made friends with a couple of couples in our hotel during our stay. Just drinks, chat, nothing out of the ordinary, as you do. There is no lengthy build up to what happened next, this came out of nowhere.

About a week into our two week stay we were drinking with a couple (Matt and Lisa) from the UK who we had chatted to a few time over the week. I'm Not sure how old they are exactly but I’d guess mid to late twenties or so. Anyway at some point around 11pm Lisa succumbed to the drink and a long day and announced she was going to bed. Matt said he would finish his drink and be there.

Twenty minutes after that Matt offered to get us all a final drink and (you couldn’t make this up) Ellie said, word for word “Please can I have Sex on the Beach”. Not “A sex on the beach”. Now up to this point there had been no flirting, no innuendo, nothing therefore to say I was somewhat shocked would be an understatement. I was even shocked how corny it was. To his credit Matt just smiled and said it was no problem and off he went. He wasn’t far away so as much as I wanted to ask questions, I couldn’t, we just kind of smiled at each other and sort of laughed it off. Matt came back and, as he handed Ellie her drink said “Sex on the Beach for you… but if you want my recommendation, sex on the bed is more comfortable”. In hindsight it was a moment of panic mixed with a sense that this was getting real. I didn’t pause. I looked at Ellie and said “It is getting late and I can't disagree so let’s finish this drink and find out?”

Now, in my mind it gave her an out, In my mind it was just a cheeky cue for us to say goodnight and leave. On the other hand it gave her the chance to respond some other way. And I intended to leave that totally to her. She didn’t hesitate before saying “Definitely, I’m ready now” and stood up.

At this point I’m not sure if Matt was expecting anything other than for us to leave as he reached for a sip of his drink. As I stood up Ellie said to Matt “Thanks for a lovely evening, do you think Lisa would miss you for another hour or so?” I still don’t think he was connecting the dots, or was trying hard not to misread a situation as he replied “doubt it, she will be flat out now for the night”. I didn’t even think about it and I just said “room 113 if you want to”.

I’d hoped to check with Ellie again before Matt (maybe) arrived but, not a chance, he was stood up and about five paces behind us all the way to our room. We didn’t say much on the short walk but Ellie was smiling (as was I inwardly) so I took it to be all good. She wasn’t drunk at all, therefore, I figured that she was making the decision for herself. I’d had three beers so a little tipsy perhaps but not drunk.

Now, I’ve read a few stories like this, some undoubtedly true, many not I guess. Well, this is a true story, little to no embellishment and I’m sorry to report that, unlike in many stories, Ellie did not suddenly become a sexual goddess. Matt was not 12” long and, to be fair, I think that inwardly we were all having second thoughts but concealing the fact. I am kind of pleased that I had taken the lead right then as it was definitely nervy. We got to our room a few seconds ahead of Matt, just enough time to shoot a glance at Ellie; a kind of ‘are you sure?’ look. It didn’t even register. She went in, dimmed the room and turned to face me smiling a smile I recognised as ‘yeah, I’m happy and fine’. Matt walked into the room closing the door behind him and I thought I caught just a flicker of doubt on her face however, in hindsight, I think maybe I was just projecting as, in reality, I was very nervous….
