Accidents happen

I know it is difficult to police the chatrooms but something occured yesterday that I think warrented an imediate response ... but I didnt know how to go about it confused

.... i apologize if this has been 'reported' discussed and dealt with already.......
a cam had been left on and a young lad (about 12yo) came into view, totally oblivious to the cam from what I saw ... not sure what he did or didnt do as I switched the cam off.
If this or something similar happens in the future is there a 'HELP' button that could be pressed which would alert one of the mods so that they can cut the cam? (if that is possible)
From the conversations in the room I would say that many others would appreciate the guidance also.

The usual advice is to go to the room titled Home of the Chatroom Ops and if one is on duty, they will see you there and drop in. Sometimes there isn't one in the chatrooms but in the Forum. I have raised attention to matters by PMing an Op in th Forum (the ones with the purple coloured name). In any other case, you can report it by giving the time, date, room name and server to admin using the report site abuse links.

Like an emergency "pull the chain" on a train? Would have to be penalties for mis-use though otherwise the poor old Ops would be run off their feet!

I went in the chat room once and there was a woman sat with a young child on her knee :shock:
well u know me, not one for keeping my gob shut and i had to say something even tho all the guys was quite happy to sit chatting to her and even commented on how cute her child was confused

:? anyway all i said was, do you think a swingers chat room is really the best place to have your child on view? to which she turn the cam off and left without saying a word, and i was left with half a dozen men having a go at me :? for saying something and making her leave, one man even said i must have a sick mind to think there was anything wrong with a mother holding her child on cam and what did i expect her to do if her child needed looking after leave it to cry rolleyes

If anyone has a specific problem and can't find an op on line at the time - Please either let one of the mods know or send one of the op's a pm and we will deal with it as soon as we log on.
Most of us are on several times a day and you can find a list of the op's names in this forum on the *Sticky* at the top of the list.
Even if the event has passed and you feel it may have already been dealt with, it is still worth reporting things which cause concern - if no one else had reported it, it will have gone unchecked.
A few basic details would help - room title and appox time, server number, member nick and any relevant convo you may have copied. If not we can have the logs checked anyway and then anyone who needs further action being taken, will be dealt with right away.

you did the right thing.
and her child did need looking after so she should have done that and when child asleep then go on cam.
my son is 14 and if hes in room i wont put my cam on.

i think the cpl your on about is the one i asked a chat op to kick them off as there wasnt around and they had left there cam on
i got told about the kids but never seen it myself but asked the chat op to take them off chat as they left cam on and wasnt around
