I seem to remember that a few weeks maybe months ago a block function was added when in the chatroom.
But it doesn't seem to be there anymore. How come?

It's still there
- in chat, check your Chat Settings
- for Whispers, select 'authorise'
then when in Chat
- select a profile
- 3rd option below it is the 'star', click it
- then confiirm whether want to block or not
or
when a whisper request comes through, you can 'accept', 'deny', or 'block'
also select :: settings under My Account and then click the Chatroom tab to either
- manually add profiles to block list
or
- 'un-block' any you previously blocked
- in chat, check your Chat Settings
