surely when people are on cam, it has got a little bit to do with liking to be watched?
Pointing out that they are on cam can't be much worse than saying they've got profile pics?
It's not like it's private or anything - they're available to anyone who looks.

It`s possible that the people who cam are just doing it for "the moment" and may not feel entirely comfortable with their exploits being scored in this way.
