Can''t allow access to my cam in the chat rooms

I have a working cam that works fine in msn etc, but when I try to use it in the chatrooms, the little box pops up asking me if I want to allow or deny access to my cam, but I'm unable to click either button. The box stays there and the only solution seems to be alt+f4 which closes the entire chat window.
I'm using Windows 7, have tried the chat rooms in IE and Firefox, and have also uninstalled flash/shockwave and reinstalled.
It's beginning to bug me now. It's as if my mouse clicks aren't registering within the popup box..
Any ideas?
I had this problem, clicking a couple of times works now. If you have changed your cam lately, it may not recognise the new one, there may be a button on the box to show which cam its asking for, or there should be an icon on the little box that you can click to update your flash, which may help.
Thats about all i can think of at the moment. Good luck

PS I use firefox btw
It still won't work. The cam is fine in other programs. Flash has been uninstalled/reinstalled with the latest version.. None of the mouse clicks are registering anywhere on the little popup box. Only solution is alt+f4 which like I say closes the whole window down and removes me from the chat room.
One of the main reasons I signed up for the full price membership here is for use of the cam rooms, and it seems I'm having no luck, lol :P

Thank you!
Oh my god, I just realised what was causing it. I sit way back from the screen, so use the windows Magnify tool to zoom in on the screen to make it readable.. Closing that down allowed me to click the button fine..
I dunno if I'm daft, or whether the windows software is daft, but either way I've got it working ;)

There's also some good advice here about cam issues in chat.
Glad you're all sorted.

Avg? As in the antivirus program?
I had a problem with it when playing a computer game as it thought part of the games software was a virus
I use avast - free and a lot more stable
