I totally agree gil, tried raising subject in a room, but got shouted down, so i pays me money and get bad service.

Frankly the site is now rubbish! .. its to all intents and purposes a "clique " that's why you get shouted down in the rooms when you say anything !
Just wait and see which "mod" or "admin" gives it the "big one" on this
This evening there is nothing wrong with my internet connection ( its actually very fast) and working well on you-tube and all other processor / bandwidth hungry sites yet this site is lagging to buggery .. being booted in and out of rooms regularly and the
mysterious but predictable "no directing rooms " are still working but then they are just cam feeds arent they !
The "stock " and again franky "smug" response "raise a support ticket" doesn't actually help anyone at all ..SH know the problems ( and have done for weeks and seem to have done feck all to fix them ) looks to me simply their servers are full since xmas when they stupidly allowed access to the chatrooms for freebiers .. ( stupid move) up or that the are somehow reducing the size of the server or some such( And yes I am an IT expert!) .. either way as a " paid " service its frankly total rubbish !
If they had anything about them they would either offer free months to those paying monthly or a reduction to annual memberships .. and appear to be remaining silent
It may be time for someone to start countering the adverts with a SH the truth website maybe ? .. just sayin'
Personally I just want my money back now I'm bored with the lack of effort and rubbish excuses you keep giving , and it doesn't like I'm the only one .. so SH can I and indeed anyone else not satisfied with the service you are providing ?

The only issue I had with the site yesterday was an hour or two of glitches, "502- something" when viewing a profile! From what I saw later that day it was soon fixed.
Let's put this into perspective, the World did not end! The site remained up and running, plenty in the Chatrooms/Forum that where unaware that there was even a problem.
This site is the best site around in my honest opinion - The features on here can not be found on any of the other sites - it's streets ahead.
As expected! interesting to see that all respondants are long standing members too .. FYI ..I think I have been a member of one sort since about 2007 so am more than used to the site .. will leave it with you to sort yourselves out , go bust , ..or not..who knows

From experience we've never had a Support Ticket not responded to within 36 hrs (a Bank Holiday weekend excepted) and quite often if it's an actual 'bug' that's been encountered several times they've been identified, fix coded and implemented before the vast majority of other users have even known.
OK for some of the later issues, e.g. the Chat instability over the Christmas/New Year period, lots of work and time went into trying to identify the cause, with the Chat Servers at the backup data centre being reconfigured to an earlier version and the whole Chat service moved from the problem servers across to the backup data centre ones, whilst investigations and fixes to the problem ones continued.
If your an 'IT expert', in which area ?
Can you honestly say that none of your applications have never failed, or that none of the infrastructure it runs on has ever failed ?
With 30yrs + in the industry soon realised that 'shit happens' and it's how companies deal with them that's equally important as having a good product in the first place, SH are one of the better ones.
Consider the Royal Mail website that allows people to calculate their postal costs that was down for more than a month, look at HMRC which is currently showing service issues with Excise Movement & Control and Import Control systems, or HSBC 'loosing' it's online banking, telephone banking and cash point/ATM services in November.
On your contention that "this site is lagging to buggery" , certainly not our experience generally and on the handful of occasions this has happened undertaking basic 'IT diagnosis', e.g. trace routing, ping, network diagnostics, etc. has usually always identified an issue within the UK infrastructure of BT, Virgin, Cable & Wireless, etc. in the routing before we actually reach SH's gateway to the site, rather than within the site itself - though the latter does occur and Support Staff are usually aware and called in to investigate within an industry acceptable period of time.
As for 'money back, surely you read http://www.swingingheaven.co.uk/main/terms-and-conditions.html before joining as by clicking on the 'I Accept' button at the bottom of these terms and conditions and subscribing you agree to be legally bound by these terms and conditions , in particular 4.6 pertaining to refunds ?
who to complain to? thats what i want to know. Virgin Media have had severe network issues this evening and we believe that this is likely to be the cause of many problems in connecting to the site this evening, I have also heard that some people with BT infinity may be having issues.

Usually prior to 'dis-connects' chat freezes for about a minute, comes back and then get dis-connect error/dumped out of chat. Did it earlier
However came back into Chat via debug option.
About 1hr later in Pool, all cams froze, then all the chat for about 2 mins+ before circa 30 lines of chat. However rather than usual dis-connect, as expected, went back to working normally, though a couple of others did get 'dumped'.
OK whilst using debug version for Chat didn't disconnect, so you could get a 'dump file', it does seem more tolerant of the 'time out' situation.

In the space of 10 min this morning the chatroom has booted us out - and I don't mean booted or kicked from a room, I mean SH's chatroom disconnected us for no apparent reason.
And in those few minutes we were in the rooms, we couldn't open cams or view profiles - AGAIN!
