Bo - Hopefully it will remain open - i just hope your ISP isn't blocking the ports at peak times like the same issue we had with tiscali a while back. What is your ISP?

And can you try the flash connection test a few times over a 10 minute period and see if you fail any.

hi elliot m with virgin and tried test 5 - 6 times all passed the only thing im having trouble with is
getting into chat
please help im going insane :shock:
Did you follow steves advice on the previous page.
1) Clear Temp Internet Files
2) Uninstall and Reinstall Flash.
This should solve any issues you're having if you pass the connection test.
Can't get into chat room at all...have tried all the above, just get to server one and it hangs there.

I need to see a trace to the chat server from your accounts.
If you're on Windows XP or earlier:
Goto Start > Run
Type 'cmd' and press enter.
in the box that pops up, type:
tracert 5
Wait a few seconds until it says 'Trace Complete'
Next right click anywhere on the black, and goto 'Select All'
Hit enter on your keyboard.
Come to this thread start a reply, and right click in the message window and goto 'Paste'
This will paste the data into here and i can diagnose the issue.

Check to see you typed excatly what elliot asked you to type ie tracert 5 then after you type that press enter
i did that again and got the exact same reply as my origional one whats going on cant get in on main pc or lap top same reply

From what its returning, it seems you aren't typeing the 'tracert' word before the ip address.

Hi,
It seems that some of your network hardware has blocked the server.
I would suggest you restart your router in the dining room, and what i can guess is an Virgin modem box near your tv.
Simply turn them off, wait 10 sec and turn them on again.

Looks more like Virgin and their backbone through London Linx are having routing problems, either that or their routers are very busy and not returning pings.

Everytime I go into chat within 5 mins or less I am disconnected and get this message
You have been disconnected, the error has been logged to our technical team to investigate.
This has been happening since Monday.. It has happend in the past, but only occasionally..this week its happening all the time..have never managed to stay in chat more than 5 mins all week!!! :cry:

Looks like SH owes me a days subscription. Only 13p but it all adds up!!
SH should note that other swingers sites do not seem to continulally have issues with chat servers and some of them are free!
