having been using the chatrooms for a while now we have noticed that some people have different coloured text and can use smileys.
what we don't understand is how this is done. we maybe being thick but could someone tell us how we can change our colour

The colour of your text can be changed by clicking on the little black square in the bottom left and choosing another colour.
If you open the sticky at the top of this page, on page one is a list of the smilies.
