Chatroom Whispering

I dont know if this subject has come up before, and I know it is in the rules (but some people dont read profiles so i doubt they read the rules!) - I was wondering if we could have no directing or whispering at the top of main rooms, rather than just no directing, its so easy to say - cant you read when they direct, but no so easy to say - go read the rules about whispering??
Just an observations cos I dont know about anyone else but the whispers lately have been getting worse, i know its easy to say just ignore them, but its difficult, well it is for me anyway !!

I do not think it would be fair to stop whispering in the main rooms, as a lot of people still do use it..
There are many rooms where directing and whispering is not allowed, so you could go into one of thoses or create you own even..

Technically people are not allowed to whisper without asking first, but maybe this rule needs to be re-enforced in the way you suggest.

I’m not entirely sure how the rules are worded at the moment, but I have always thought it better to have the rule that whispering without asking and direction cammers should be forbidden, unless specifically stated in the room name that it is ok to do so. In other words if it aint in the title you can’t do it.

I was in a room the other day which said whispering only very odd and a bit of fun I thought.
Sadly we were told there was no op so room closing so I thought it would be fun to set up my own soon after that night.
HOWEVER, I was told in no uncertain terms by a mod that this was against site rules and I got kicked for 5 mins...... sad

Well I know for next time, but, I thought the room name says it all, if you didn't like whispering you wouldn't go in.
Anyway....lesson learnt.

I think i worded it wrong, i meant, no whispering without asking, of course whispering is ok, but not without permssion - having a nutster moment

Nutty darling I knew exactly what you meant...........
And I agree, whispering without asking first is just a pain in the ass and distracting if you're trying to have a nice chat in the room.

i am not against whispering on the whole but it just seems the ones that whisper without asking are all the same,ie do you want to watch me wank,shall i come round etc,and if you look at thier profile its like 180miles away,well yeah just jump on a bus like im waiting,if they have a serious point cant see the problem of asking first
