Closing Chatrooms??????

I opened a room last night and TWICE it was closed down mad

1st time there was about 30 people in and the 2nd time (when I was playing on cam with cpl) there was about 55 people in....
I was told later on by someone that as soon as a Mod appeared into the room it was shut down banghead

By then I was too into the fun that I was having with said cpl and couldn't be arsed to wait 5 mins etc to open a new room
Anyway apology's to anyone that was enjoying the show until it was so rudely interrupted flipa

It was more than likely the room name that was unsuitable so Kiss is right...
Oh and Mods are forum Moderators, OP's are chatroom OPerators... If you have a question in future it would be prudent to PM one of us to ask the question...

Btw can any of the Chatroom mods also explain whats happening with the chatrooms now cos no-one can seem to access them mad

If that was the name of the room then I have no idea hun dunno

I have just tried to get in the chatroom and got in on my second attempt but it does look like server 2 is having problems again... I will contact one of the Admin team to let them know smile

Is there any way we can make contacting chatroom ops easier if they're not in the room you're in? The "home of the chatroom ops" is usually empty and you'd have to leave the room you're in to go there......and there's no way (that I've worked out at least) of seeing which ones are around or even online. The Sarge has put a list up in this forum but not linked, so you have to do a name search to find them ..... by which time, with my memory, I've forgotten what on earth I wanted them for in the first place sad

If any are logged on, they will be showing with purple names on the front page of the forum - just click on their nick and send a pm if you're stuck. They can then come and assist, provided you tell them which room etc ;-)

Thanks Red Hot .....but I thought that only listed people actually browsing the forum ? As I write this it says there are 98 people online in the forum, including one op, out of over 5000 online across the site.

I think it does only list those in the forum, rather than everyone logged into the ads or chat, however, op's mods etc show on the front page where ever they happen to be on site - unless they mark themselves to show offline which we all do from time to time for short periods if we are busy and can't take pm's or just popped in to check on private pm's etc and haven't got the time to do the op stuff.
However, if there is a problem of any kind, it would always we worth pm'ing one of us even if we are not on line, as we would be able to deal with it even at a later stage, when we do eventually log on and read the pm.
So give us as many details as possible - room title, server, approx time, any nick's involved and we will sort it out pronto lol
