I don't know how long it's been there but I spotted a desktop chat option on the site today. I was half way through installing when I got a warning saying that the application was made by an unknown organisation and would have free unlimited access to all my files etc. Call me a fuddy duddy but I cancelled the install at that point. THere's no information on this desktop chat anywhere on site and I want reassurances that it's ok.
I don't want it accessing any of my files without my express permission each time.
I don't want it launching on my kids profiles on this PC.
Does it log in automatically ?
Any chance of some sort of walkthrough of options and settings ( if there are any )
Because, right now it's not going to get used :-S but I like the idea of it.

This message will not be displayed once we've come out of beta testing. The message is from the Adobe software warning you that you're installing software on your computer, as with any software, you need to be careful what you install.
The chat doesn't access your local files or leave any files on your computer, apart from itself obviously.
It installs on the computer and is available for anybody who uses it, but feel free to remove the short cuts from the start menu and desktop. It requires you to log into the chat each time its opened. We've just noticed it does mention 'Swinging Heaven' in the description of the chat, this will be removed and we will brand this as 'SH Chat' only, and use the SH logo which is quite anonymous.

This version won't remember usernames or passwords, so if anyone were to stumble across it they wouldn't be able to gain any access.
