Why have the friends lists all gone and whats happened to the sent messages, we cant see this list. The inbox is there but cant get into the sent box.
Anyone know why, its a bit annoying when you spend time building up the friends list only to have it stripped away.

next to your friends tab is one called favourites.
To be your friend, the other person has to agree. However you can add anybody you like to your favourites list.
So it wasn't annoying after all.
