How do i block people? Have a really, really pushy guy who has sent me a pm...thought id blocked him....but appears ive only blocked his profile...he found out, really isnt happy about it lol and is not taking no for an answer.
Also how can i switch off whispers in the rooms?

If you are receiving abuse or feeling threatened by anyone on the site ,be it chatrooms or forum,then inform a Moderator or Chatroom Op and it will be dealt with under the site AUP...
No-one should have to tolerate any form of abuse/stalking etc....
We're all here for fun at the end of the day....

A bit late now but...
Proactively you can block someone by adding their username to this list:

To ban people in chat:
* In chat windows, left click on the name, choose "Block user", a popup window comes up, click on "yes".
* On a room's users list at the right, left click on a name, click on the "x" icon, a popup window comes up, click on "yes".
To turn whispers off in chat:
* Click on the spanner icon (top right hand side, next to the green help button)
* "Allow whispers" drop down menu, choose "Don't allow people to whisper me"
The middle road of asking for authorisation is hit&miss, the requests show up in the main chat window so if it's a busy day and you're not looking these will scroll off.

Thank you so so much for the tips and advice. A kind soul in chat took pity on me in chat and guided me through the how to block tips....that put an end to his friday night lol.
