How does someone get banned?

Last night in the chat rooms, I whitnessed someone being an idiot, there were about 4-5 ops or is it mods, I always get confused, the person got booted so many times but kept coming back. Is there a number of times a person can get booted my someone that has the powers before he cant return back into the room.

The chat ops look after the chat rooms. :bounce:
You can pm one of them with your concerns, or send in a support ticket to admin, who can look at the logs if need be.

Whoops sorry meant the op's were there booting but they kept coming back. I thought once booted by a op, they shouldn't be able to come back, until allowed.

I don't know how they do it but some can just click join and it puts them right back into the room.. As for a ban, it's not until they actually log out and back into the site that the ban comes into force. I think thats right anyhow lol

The above is correct.
And once spoken to, should the person refuse to log out and serve their ban, they may just find it gets extended.
