HTML codes

...is anyone else having problems in this forum with HTML codes? I've been trying to use the List= button on a few posts but it shows as "text" rather than creating a list.
HTML isn't disabled in my settings and it works fine in the other forums.

I would hazard a guess that as html code in forum posts leaves them open to exploits, that the site has html turned off - most forums do.

Nope the site HTML is turned on Jon. I can use it elsewhere on here - just in this forum that it blips occasionally.
Having said that:

Sorry to be pedantic but when you use these little fella's isn't it BB code ? I thought HTML was when you used these < > wink

can anyone help. i used to be able to access the chatroom but i must have pressed the wrong button or disabled something on my pc because whenever i go into chatroom now it loads then i just see a blank screen. What am i doing wrong ?????

Eww - I'm confused now. When I select any of the buttons (B, I, U, Quote, Code etc etc) they appear with the square brackets which I assumed was some internal translation for the HTML equivalents. If I'm manually entering HTML I'd use the <> brackets instead.

By the way, the problem hasn't happened again smile

buggered if i know what's wrong with my chatroom access..........complete blank screen when i access the chatroom .............any techno fiends out there that can help ???
