Identifying the room host

I can see how not getting kicked out by overzealous ops when the room host has nipped off for a pee or a cup of coffee, is a huge step forward and I`m gonna say .......

How about, along with the room host, a "deputy" ? Someone the room host can "transfer temporary control" to as an extra "Room Host" feature?
Ofcourse, to prevent abuse (people transferring control all over the shop) the "deputy is merely filling in" but can only hand control back to the original host.
The only exception being this feature ("dependent transfer") expires after 6-12 hrs, ie if the original host is away for 6-12 hrs, then the "deputy" is now "new host" and can transfer to whoever they choose (a new deputy) with likewise "dependent transfer" powers.
Convoluted? or an idea? Oh well.. just me having too many sleepless nights.
