ok...
so, i am not sad, or bored, or here cause i dont have any friends...am not second class because i am here with the other half ( although she knows and approves)...
but...why do people put things like " we are friendly, always get back to you, just say hi in chat room"..and things like that...
then you say hi and.........nothing...
whats it all about......???
how do you break into this and get a response....just to chat ???
umm......comments are welcome.

Hi and :welcome:
I am no expert, and although I have been on the site for a while now, I am a fairly recent chatroom-user.
So, not sure how valid my advice would be but here goes anyway...
In the chatroom I never whisper to people, always say hello in the room first and then ask to whisper.I just think this is more polite. If I am in a room I have not been in before I usually sit and watch for a while and suss out the banter... or lack of(!) amongst the regulars. When I do start chatting, I guess I just persevere until I get to know folks.
As for the Forum... I kinda did the same on here. Read lots and then plucked up courage to reply and now I just drop by and post when I feel like I have something to say.
Stick with it... there are good folks out there!

a few words that may help
Humour
Manners
Patience
Stick to Those three words and you won't go far wrong
wave hun, I'm no expert either (was that a touch of sarcasm razor_wire?? ....) and I don't really talk much in the chatrooms but I can say is hang on in there because there are really nice people who chat in the rooms and once your name has been seen a few times in a particular room you'll become known and people will build up a bond with you.
Welcome to the site and all I can say is give it some time. You haven't been here long and it can take a few weeks for people to get used to seeing you around before they feel they can actually 'chat' with you. Think about it like going to a new pub, it can take a few weeks before the regulars get used to the 'new guy' stood at the bar.
Good luck wink
