I'm afraid that Appple are too scared of flash to make their products compatible. However one of the more techno geeks will be along soon to give you a really solid gold plated answer.

I asked that question to a tech guy at an Apple store some years ago, he told me that it can be done by downloading an app. But I was asking the question for general flash and not SH chatroom use. He also told me apple see flash as a dated format and heavy on memory and not good for iPads
Sorry but can't remember what the app was called and if its still available but at least you know where to ask the question now.
