Can I just remind people to make sure they log out correctly each time they leave the chatrooms please.
There are a great many members who leave their account logged in but idle for many hours - I even found one yesterday who had been idle for two days :!:
More often than not, they are in the main admin rooms, Beach, Lounge etc and this can clog up the rooms, making entry for other people a problem.
It can also mean you may have problems when you try to get back in to chat. It may keep disconnecting you, if you try to join one of the rooms which you are still showing in and may mean your idle "ghost" will have to be booted before you can get back in.

Crikey Red, I've never logged out - do you mean that when we move between rooms we should log out of each one?
And when we leave chat altogether, I've always just closed it - should I be logging out before I close?

Closing it down is fine. What reddhot is referring to is people that log into the site, go into chat, and leave themselves in chat. If somebody then checks out their profile and it says last on site two days ago, this means that they've been sitting in chat all that time.
This often happens in the regional chatrooms where people "put their towel on the sunlounger". That way when they want to chat, they have a space in the room rather than being locked out as its reached the 70 limit.
Its the sort of thing that just adds to the frustration of other site users who are actively on site and want to chat in a specific room but can't.
