i try to chat with people and it only allows me to type 1 letter and it must be frustrating to all in the chatroom that this happens can anyone help thanks

It sounds as if the problem is with your PC, rather than with the site. It might be worth making sure you have the latest version of "flash" which the chatrooms use ... you can get that here ...

Try that and see if it improves things.
I'm assuming for the moment that you are using a PC rather than a MAC and running microsoft windows -- XP or Vista.
