Elliot,
If you are using both the IM and the new Chat - any messages on the IM appear as 'whisper' windows in the main chat in the highlighted 'yellow'. Is it possible to distinguish these in another colour (and a msg - You have an IM Message') - it's really confusing to think someone is whispering you going into the window and seeing a 'blank screen'.?
New bug:-
Desktop Chat
When setting a text colour (blue) in the main room - when you whisper it defaults back to standard (black)..

Does the same for dark blue in Desktop, browser chat fine
It would be nice to change the icon colours in the members list from pastel colours to something a bit more defined, 1 in 5 men are colour blind so cannot easily tell the difference betweent the male and female figures.
Cheers
Bug list updated, few fixes and improvements today.
For questions:
HnS - Once we do the settings properly they will be stored SH side so will follow you around and remember all settings, i won't put this in the bug list now as it will be in for version 1.1.
With regards to the bug not remembering the colour between tabs - this is for the same reason as above, so will be fixed all in one hit.
jonojones - thats a very good point and we're always willing to work on accessibility. I believe we will end up with a 'high contrast' option for the chat, where users have the choice to view it in different colours.
Thanks,
Elliot
Sit tight, Lee's broken it.

Elliott,
many thanks, wasn't sure hence the ask.
thanks

PS - Like the new pop up info windows you've just added for ?, chat settings, clear chat and exit chat. Should help new users navigate their way
Elliott,
From some testing so far, if a profile is kicked from a room they seem to end up back in The Pool.
What's the chance of changing the 'code' so that when kicked they end up at the Chat T&Cs page, http://www.swingingheaven.co.uk/chatroom/user-rules.html ?
Also, that when 'kicked' the sytem generates an auto-raised 'abuse' report for OPS/Admin, bit like when a 'report profile' is raised ?
(Obviously would just say profile, time, and room details)
Just a thought

I wouldn't mind being licked from a room :giggle:

There seems to be a time-lag between turning a cam off and the removal of the name from the Live Cams list (seems to be between 10-20 seconds)?
Whilst the pop out cam on the browser version is now working fine, the desktop version doesn't allow the popped out window to be resized; it can only be maximised or the original pop up size. Running Windows 7 Prof 64 bit
Another update is up. You will need to re-download the desktop version, for the last time, as the new version includes an auto updater.
Gufuncouple - I've added a bug to investigate with regards to camera list issues.
tradsweet - Bug added about popout camera resize
HnS - We decided to send the user to lobby on a kick rather than disconnect them as we felt it was more appropriate action based on the severity of a kick. Should the user misbehave severely, then they will be banned. There is little gain disconnecting a user and letting them reconnect, so we removed this feature. With regards to op reports, in an upcoming version we do plan to have 'call and op' and 'report user' functions from within the chatroom, but this won't be for the first release.
Thanks all for your input so far,
Elliot

May be a design feature - may be a bug:
When selecting a profile the window is poping under the current chat windo not on top.
Running IE8 with W7PRO

It's designed that way
Elliott,
great idea to identify Extras a/c's with a purple stripe biggrin
to save people asking, etc. worth adding to the "Help" panel for the "Members" list, plus advising OPS are yellow/gold ?
Just in the room now, busy sign on and showing offline on main site, got what appeared to be a whisper request in a seperate tab, but the user was not even in the room.
Also when you hover over the tabs for help, setting etc, the function for each tab does not pop up briefly as they had done before

Hi Buxy,
These bugs should have been fixed a few days back, are you using the desktop version? If so please launch it from the site once more time to get the latest version (you won't need to do this more than once from this point).
EDIT: I've just added a note to my first post about this issue, apologies it was removed yesterday.
Thanks,
Elliot
Yea Elliot, it was the desktop I launched from intially, then logged into site after, will launch from site and see what happens, thanks.
Works fine now Elliot, thanks.

Not so great that there are now three alphabetical listings of chat users. I can imagine once the rooms become more heavily populated that people can't find the person they want to perv / whisper.
I can understand room hosts / admin / ops being at the top, so that people can get advice if required. (it's an albatross as you get accidentally whispered all the time lol ).
But to then have to wade through extras members and then standard level members to find someone that you are looking for will be frustrating to say the least.
Being able to find somebody that you are looking for. - important to many people.
knowing that somebody has extras - nice to know (they might have 300 photos wink ) but important ? not in my book, sorry.
I know it's a minor detail, but what are chances of additonal colours for fonts??
Also are there other icons outside of the standard ones available for none tradtional cpls and genders? I have not seen any, so not sure if their available!

Id go slightly further than just the ops being gold, i think people need to be told what ALL the colour bands mean

I agree here, ops at the top, but all rest of users in alphabetical list just extras highlighted - i dont see the need to have extras all bunched together
I have just tried to use the desk top chat. I use a netbook and hame having trouble resizing the chat window to fit.
Its a tiny issue I know but thought you should be aware.
