Yes, I'm getting the same error message. Bewildering!
BUggered if I cba to read 11 pages of problems but I've only been on this chat 5 bloody minutes and I'm already pissed off with how slow it gets and then getting booted ... so it would appear from the whinging in the main room, that everyone else is feeling it too.

You say you get booted...? Before hand, did you type at all but it not appear in the room? The reason I ask is because ive been having that issue for weeks now. My ISP say its nothing to do with them
Peed off with the new chat already, the old chat never worked right with servers crashing so what do SH do design one thats worse and cant even get in this one at all now. Been trying new chat recently when very few have been in and then tonight when its very busy when I leave and try and return all I get is " please wait we are trying to connect you to the chat service" and thats about as far as it goes. No wonder people are leaving the site disgruntled with SH.

I love coming on here , and the people I meet. But Im find it incresingly frustrating with sites down etc when were paying top dollar already.

We can,t believe this site ,we paid top rate for extras ,we dont get them,
we contacted alledged moderators ,nothing back for a fortnight ,they turned
on our extra,s for two days then of again ,how do we get a refund as its a laughing
stock .

I know its not just me having issues with the new chat, but what are the reasons for changing to a new style chat? To me and from what ive seen in the chatrooms it seams quite obviouse that everyone is feeling the same when i say " If it aint Broke Don't Fix it".

That happened a few times. On one occasion, I eventually saw my text (well some of it) but then it the text screen froze again but the people on cam were still moving!
On other occasions I got the message that I'd been disconnected or something along those lines).
Since the last time, I've been unable to get back into the chat at all. It just gtells me to wait while I connect to the service but it never happens. When I cancel that box, it says I've timed out anyway!
I've just logged out, cleared cookies etc and still no joy.
I thought the point of this new chat was that it was better than the old one and we wouldn't be experiencing these problems? Methinks it should still be in Beta!
Yes its very annoying the new chat room format has been launched tonight and there clearly is a problem , as with all new things there will be a few teething problem as expected .......please SH turn the old chat back on , until you have mended it!

:thumbup: Spot on there are always teething problems with enything new, the old chat rooms are still running though as a back up.
not gone well....continually disconnected...many not able to get in.
This happened last time....a new chat was launched....and think fair to say..memberships dropped...as did chat room attendance.
Think..we should drop this chat..and go back to old format.....not 100% stable....but has to be better than tonight on here with new one.

Neither me nor kinks can get the new chat up and running, just get "Sorry, your session has timed out. Please use the original link to try again."

What amazes me is 10 years ago I was using chat rooms far busier than any of the ones ever on this site. I was also using early video messaging. These all seemed to work pretty seamlessly yet 10 years down the line its not possible to have a stable system that you can just turn on? Would have thought with 10 years of technology development there would be a provider you could use or an application you could buy that should work right off the bat.
