Hi All, We've just rolled out a new update which we hope is going to stabilize and speed up the chat for everyone. I do believe there are a minority of users that still have problems gaining access at all. If this is you, please post here, and include a description of how far it gets, what you see, and what messages are displayed. We will investigate and help each person in turn. Please do not use this thread for anything else other than connection issues. Please help why am i still getting disconnected from chat rooms. Room freezes then im booted, getting a little anoyed now, enough is enough. A paying customer.
Hi About 2 days ago it worked but now only getting the log in page - sign in and getting this message Please wait while we connect you to the chat service... the message above then turns into a blank black square/rectangle Any ideas Alan

would help if you could provide a bit more about your system in order to answer this:- Browser and version number... Operating system...

i still have a few niggling problems; 1)every now and then when i try to change the room the whole chatroom disconnects 2)the slide bar on the lower right hand box will not stay down making it impossible to view profiles of members with an inital other than A to C approx 3)the whole system is very slow takes ages to get the room list up and even longer to get into a room i hope these are just teething problems and will soon be sorted andy

I'll be dropping you a PM in a moment.
Windows XP pro and Firefox here and all works fine, Do you have any Add ons in Firefox? These maybe what's causing problems, try Firefox in safe mode (no Add ons) see if that helps.
I am lucky to stay connected for 15 to 30 seconds and never more than a minute or two, old chat and every other site I visit works fine. I use a dongle, being on board a boat, it seems to work "slightly" better when on a broadband land line connection but still pretty poor. I am still experiencing problems connecting and when I do I get disconnected agin within minutes. A very unhappy paying customer!
I am able to access new chat, but within about 5 minutes it kicks me out and asks me to reload the page in order to re-connect. Each time I do that the same thing seems to happen.
hi Elliott The only way I can enter the new chat room is vi the desk top launch. however I cannot view profiels when I am in the chatroom. Every time i click on someones view profile button it takes me to a new joiners page. It is driving me nuts. This morning I loaded Adobe Air - is that the problem? Charles

In the chat the little box comes up to allow cam/ flash, but nothing happens. When looking at changing the setting it is stuck on deny and you cant change the settings. It also freezes the page and you have to shot the computer down to do anything??????
i had a problem at first on new chat .... i couldnt get on it lol i tried to access it using garys laptop and still coudnt get on he used my laptop and was able to get into new chat via his profile and could also get into new chat via his profile on his laptop so the problem seemed to be connected to my profile rather than what pc or laptop i was using surely ? now i can usually get into it although sometimes stil have a few problems however i am sometimes disconnected and it doesnt mater whether im on my laptop or garys (his has a different set up to mine so thats why i tried it) any help for me ? ps i often cant view webcams but im not that bothered about that anyway lol
I can get into the chat rooms, but after about 30secs to a minute I simply get disconnected. I have put tickets through about this and in response I have made sure I am using an up to date Explorer 8 and in tools compatability view is ticked, but none of this has sorted the diconnection problems for me. What's next please?
im still having problems would it be better if i sent in a suport ticket again, even tho i was directed to this thread the only advice given has been about watching cams (i have got the latest flash player ty hns x)

New to this side of messaging - so hope you get this. I am still experiencing disconnection issues. Happens every 5 mins or so. Treid everything form chatting a lot to saying nothing at all but makes no difference - still get booted. Only happened since new chat arrived! Thanks for looking into it.

Surrey, For some reason if might be Flash Player related You can check which version you have and whether there is a newer version available to download via Otherwise raise a Support Ticket via http://www.swingingheaven.co.uk/support-tickets/new-ticket.html just include some basic info for the Support Team such as - operating system - browser - whether accessing from main site or the desktop option
Try to log on to the chat and all I get is "Please wait while we connect you to the chat service...Authenticating..." Then Nothing else Just 10 15 min of this message.
Just about fed up with SH now.. So many issues lately (site freezing, thrown out, no cams working) all far too common now and getting worse !! Unsurprisingly there are no links to seek a partial refund ! This site survives on paying customers.. it won't be long before someone else comes up with some competition ! When renewal comes around SH will have a problem if these so-called bugs are not repaired soon.. Just not worth the hassle !!!!! :doh:
