Polite request for TV room owners :)

Not ranting or moaning honest lol

Really is just a polite request
Just wanted to ask if people who open TV/TS room could state wether women are welcoms or not in the room.
I am female (as many people know lol) and a bit of a TV admirer wink

so as such i like to use the TV rooms yet time and time again i have been booted out for what it seems for nothing more than the fact i am a woman, now i know the rooms are usually called TV,TS and bi etc but to me that still don't say 'no women' as not all TVs are bi and even those that are meet women too, hence being bi lol i have never been rude or disrespectful to anyone and find it very unfair that i get kicked purly because of my sex sad

anyway all i want to say really is can you please re name your room 'TV,TS no women' or something please so i know not to go in :thumbup:

As I understand the rules, they can't boot you just for being a woman naughtynymphos dunno

If someone is booting you from a room because of your genda then they should be reported..
State room name and server number and time and admin will check logs and speak with room hosts..
Booting on the basis of genda is not permitted... mad

I often go in the TV rooms and have never seen this but i suppose it depends on the host and if its the regular TV room which i go in or just a one off room. Like the others say either PM them (if you know who's hosting) or report them.
Ther are some dressers in the regular room with their partners/wives so it shouldn't be an issue anyway and like has been said gender shouldnt be a basis for being booted

i have to admit i go in a regulat room thats called TV CD and bi that i have never had any problems in at all but i have been in a few and been told its a TV room only, which is fair enough after all they have couples rooms and bi fem rooms so if they want a room just for TVs i respect that all i ask is that they put that in room title ie TV only room or something wink

Sorry to hear about that NN! I was in a TV/TS room yesterday evening and had no problems, but I have in the past.
Women can be TV/CD/TS too! :rascal: I'll just have to wear a false beard on cam. :lol:

A couple of months ago I saw the owner (is that the right word? Starter?) of a full chatroom kicking people out so that her friends could get in. Not cool.

i understand what your saying NN, ive been in rooms where im not from the area stated in the room title, and been booted. cant remember if i reported this or not??
if people want an elitist room then password lock it or state in the room title "ONLY"
i dont enter couple for couple rooms, but if i did i do not see they have the right to boot me unless i broke site rules.
more people may be likely to report things if they were told of the outcome?

A few weeks back I ventured into an intrigingly named room (can't remember what it was called now) only to find I got kicked immediately. Thinking it might have been a server glitch I went back in... and got kicked again. About sixteen attempts later (:rascal smile

I realised that the couple who were in there wanted the room all to themselves so they could whisper and cam together. I didn't bother to report it at the time because I couldn't find an op but I would have if I had.
As in NN's case, I have to wonder why - if people want to limit the entrants - they don't just set up a private room. After all... that's what they're for ain't they? dunno

They don't have the right to kick you out unless you break site rules, and only then when you have been warned! Moreover, I doubt that by adding ONLY to the room name that it gives exclusivity. Some room hosts do seem to take matters much too far. The open rooms are for us all to enjoy; it just needs a bit of tolerance and respect...

I must admit I've also seen people (who I've seen enter a room after me, so I know they haven't been warned previously) kicked out so fast they couldn't possibly have been warned by whisper.
Having said that for the most part mods or room owners are fair and give at least one warning to the offending party.

It's completely possible that the people you've seen kicked who entered the room after you, had been warned and kicked previously but were still trying to use the room. Some of those who think the rules don't apply to them are remarkably persistant!

Hmmm let's just re-iterate here that it is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE TO KICK PEOPLE OUT OF A CHATROOM JUST BECAUSE THEY DON'T FIT THE CRITERIA. (In case that point hadn't sunk in will all the kick-happy room hosts ;) )
If you want an "exclusive" room then password it. There are no 2 ways about it.
If a member feels they or another member have been kicked for this reason then please contact a Chat Op. There is a list of who the Ops are stickied at the top of the forum. If we are not online please pm one of us as most of us log in here daily. Please give the name of the room and the server number when sending any pms otherwise the logs can't be checked. You can also pass this info on to a forum Mod, but they usually have enough to do :shock:
